Anyway, I have to admit that I'm somewhat gratified that my suspicions about the Anchor acting up and possible travels through a network of eluvians was something I thought MIGHT happen one day, long before the DLC survey leak :3

The "cover art" for Trespasser was shown at the end of the life feed.  It had an empty Inquisitor dragon helmet in the foreground, an eluvian with a shady figure flanked by two Fen'harel statues in the background.  Among other details.

 

Oh, wow, I completely missed that by being distracted with the dragon and eluvians.

Or it could be both. But the Tenth Dr reference is heavy on the this all ends in a bittersweet and sweeping tragic way for our Quizzy.

I don't think the Inquisitor HAS to die (but I think it's very likely it could happen) since this is the end of the Inquisitor's legacy, it doesn't have to be the end of the person who is the Inquisitor.

The helmet can symbolize just that, since it represents the Inquisitor, it is the Inquisitor's helmet, but Inqi is just a person at the end, and if the Inquisition ceases to be, they do too, as the Inquisitor. Protagonists just dying on the player is something a lot of people won't like, unless there is a choice to be made, then it's fair.

 

Heck, who knows, maybe the Inqi's survival depends on whether Solas likes them or not (since, perhaps, he can stabilize the mark).

In another world, huh? I usually am a bit annoyed by alternate universe endings, they feel like a major cop out, but if it means a happy end for Solavellan, I'll probably enjoy it.

Could the Qunari we see are part of The Executors ? They do not look like or behave like or have the military heirarchy or the magical approach that the Qun is typically known for.

It's probably like your Warden dying. I did let mine die... once... it felt like what she would do. Sadly. But I will be clear that my elf isn't dying. Nope. I think Patrick is perhaps being a goat. Everyone can't die. Not everyone!

Perhaps our Inquisitor will be like Ameridan, with some differences. The Inquisitor will be in magical stasis, trapped in one of the Eluvians. The Inquisitor's lover will die, just like Telanadas did.

 

& in Dragon Age 7, the main character will come into contact with our Inquisitor....

Well, Solas did say "In another world..." if you chose sad dialogue, but I suspect that was wishful thinking than anything that's going to be possible.

I played JOH after he dumped my quizzy, and their story, Ameridan's and Telana - I was like, this is perfect for my little sad puppy elf. It really was. I felt like she would hear that and be like "oh damn, this poor chick died waiting on her elf lover. So...weird... looking away now.

My hope is that the essence that is Mythal (and I guess Flemeth now, too) passed on to Morrigan somehow, and Solas just took the uberpower from Flemeth at the end. Or had some power returned to him, whatever. Not a mish-mash of Mythal riding around in Solas and changing the person we got to know. This way we'll see Morrigan again, FleMythal is still present in some way, and Solas can be who he is. As Solas, or Fen'Harel, whatever.
