That actually sounds pretty good. Intrigued is a lot better than drowning Thedas in an ocean of blood as Solas stabs you or bitter tears as he dumps you. Forever, this time.

If all romances are getting extra sauce, does that mean we get a Solas love scene? He's the only one alongside Joise we never sleep with in DAI unless things happened in the Fade that cannot be mentioned.

Not entirely satisfied BUT intrigued could mean:
- Solas will still leave, but keep Lavellan in uthenera so she can join him once the world is 'fixed', if she wants to
- Solas will still leave, but he gives her his necklace that so many people love, as a reminder that he will always watch over her (would LOVE this)
- Solas will still leave, explains everything that is going on and promises her that his company is only a dream away
...give me any one of those and I'm happy, even though my Lavellan might not be. :3

I'm guessing this is going to involve a lot of heavy emotion and hopefully hug options!

Story is story, but it will be kind of sad to not get some kind of moment with him when everyone else gets a last dose of loving from their LIs. Whatever "intrigued" is going to mean in the end.

I don't trust the trailer's teasing.The matter of Solas' godhood is too much of a big deal for it to be casually addressed in some DLC.
Whatever is in store for him and Flemeth will only unfold in the next games.
There is, however, hope for the romance. This might be a Witch Hunt kind of reunion.
That's exactly what I'm thinking. His influence in the story is yet to be truly defined so he has become another Morrigan which to be honest I don't know if that was necessary since Morrigan's story is not even wrapped up yet. However her romance with the Warden is a solid thing, I mean they can even have a kid and that's really cool. I hope Lavellan's and Solas' relationship gets us a resolution I can live with. I don't mind open ended stories because we can interpret that how we like but I'd like some guidance from Weekes as to where that could lead. Do they have a possible future together or is his Godhood too much for them to work it out.
I mean Solas is pretty obsessed with the Inquisitor, even more so Lavellan.

My biggest, bravest, most precious hope would be a hug, really. As a romance or simply as a friend.
But I worry that he has hardened his heart beyond being able to allow hugs.

I'm so terrified at the moment and I really hope that there is a possibility to get Solas back. I don't care if the romance is left open. For me it's enough that they are together even if he had to do some stuff once in a while.

Intrigued is better than disappointed I guess.
Also I have a feeling after he answers your questions it might end up to where he will say that he will come back to you after all the mess is over with...which I think will be better than him saying he doesn't care for you anymore and that your relationship is permanently over with.

You know what I would love? Not likely to happen, but this is how I would write it in a fanifc! All your companions help you in the fight against the Qunari, you run into Solas, have a cryptic talk and as the final fight happens, he rejoins you to defeat this new evil! Like how Cullen, Samson, Zevran and Nate can join you in DA2! Then everyone is reunited for a big gathering before parting ways.

This. I'm putting a lot of hope in the writers right now and hope that they'll treat the Solas romance fairly, and I know they would providing the time and/or resources are there. I just hope they are there.
