I could easily see them being entirely indifferent to each other.  I think Morrigan probably has bigger interests and Solas's interest would probably be in whether they should be trusting her.  They do have some common ground on how they approach magic though and might, assuming they ever interacted, see each other as sensible on that front.

A thunderstorm – not always dangerous but a warning that cannot be ignored. Can be deadly under the right circumstances.

Neutral good mixed with some Lawful neutral

Earth - Steadfast, strong and dependable

She likes to carve little trinkets out of wood or make jewelry if she has free time. She is also very eager to learn about cultures that are not her own and secrets she could never access before.

Practical, though she isn’t opposed to fashion. As long as it’s not shoved down her throat.

• Solas, as she is very fond of an open-minded attitude and intelligence. Plus he just fascinates her. She finds him relaxing to be around, and they don’t have to talk to fill silence when they’re together.
• Varric, because she appreciates his steadfast, loyal nature and likes someone who can take a step back from duty duty duty but not in an annoying way. She enjoys his stories when she wants to forget about something.
• Blackwall, as she admires his Grey Warden conviction and dedication. She likes honorable people and he is somebody she would immediately want to trust.
• Cassandra for similar reasons as above. Though it may take a while to get past the whole getting locked up in prison thing.

Solas. Backup is Sera.

 

19.Do they have any scars? What are they from?

Yes. One on her face along her cheek and multiple others elsewhere. She got them just from general fighting, I imagine. She’s going to be as much of an up-close-and -personal fighter of a mage as possible.

 

20.If they met, how would your Inquisitor get along with your Warden? Your Hawke?

She and Queen CousCous would get along just fine, though my Warden would question the harshness of some of her choices. Hawke would irritate her until she got to know him. Then he would still annoy her, but she would grudgingly be unable to really dislike him.

• Elves: They are elves. She feels slightly bad for the city elves and finds the Dalish fascinating but far too standoffish.
• Humans: They are humans. Some are good and some she wants to drop kick across a city.
• Qunari: Her people, but she doesn’t feel incredibly connected by bonds of race
• Dwarves: They are dwarves. She’s most curious about them, though, because she’s had the least amount of interaction with them.

 Mint green – Pretty and playful but can also be seen as calm and collected.

 A fennec fox! Small and smart and sly.

Soft, folky rock with a good beat.

Spring – Lively and hopeful.

A volcano. It can just sit there and look steady, inviting and pretty, but it can and will erupt under the right circumstances. And when it happens, you’re f***ed.

 Neutral good with a bit of chaotic good at times.

Air/Wind: Light, encompassing and ever-changing. Can also be absolutely deadly under the right circumstances.

 Wood and grass and vanilla, if she can find anything vanilla scented to put on herself. She loves the smell.

Yep, but I don’t know it yet.

She’s good with both.

Stargazing and gardening and sometimes cooking.  She also likes learning to do pretty little tricks with her magic. She’ll also suck up any information about her heritage like a sponge.

Practical, though she likes looking pretty when she can.

Fluctuates between neat and unorganized depending on importance.

 

17.Who do you think they’ll get along with best among their companions, if any?

• Sera: Upbeat attitudes are always a good thing for her, as is a concern for the unfortunate and average people caught up in the horror of everything going on. They would have fun together.
• Varric, Dorian and Josephine for their charming, friendly personalities.
• Iron Bull:  Also for the gregarious nature and a fun-loving attitude. He will probably worry her a little, though, and she’ll want to keep an eye on him to make sure he’s doing well.
• Solas for how much he could possibly teach her and his open-minded view on magic. She’s more wary of her own power than Solas but would be intensely interested in what his dreaming ability let him discover. She also likes bringing more reserved people out of their shells, so she would want to hang around him.

18.Who will they romance, if anyone?

Solas again because she’s an alternate for possible canon Inquisitor. If not chosen as the canon, she’ll go for Cullen or Iron Bull.

 Yes. A small scar above her eye that cuts through her eyebrow and another along her chin. From fighting.

 

20.If they met, how would your Inquisitor get along with your Warden? Your Hawke?

She and my Warden would respect each other quite a bit. She and my Hawke would be instant pals.

• Elves:  Her people. Their history is one she’s very interested in uncovering and she worries about her race dying out. She holds zero animosity towards city elves and wishes they could all come together somehow. She’s not incredibly fond of the Dalish tendency to shut everybody out.
• Humans: She was afraid of them as a child but soon grew to learn that, like every race, there are the good and the bad. If she calls someone ‘shem’, there usually isn’t any fire behind it.
• Qunari: A fascinating and somewhat intimidating race. She’s floored by Iron Bull, as she’s used to only interacting with and hearing about stoic, Qun-following Qunari.
• Dwarves: She likes dwarves. She’s met a few surface ones and always got on well with them. She’s very interested in seeing an underground city, though would get antsy if she had to stay for too long.

Margot Trevelyan is the (youngest, if possible) daughter of a noble family. She was always a bit odd, and her family's attempts to make her a 'true lady' were a failure so they gave up trying. As a result, she pretty much had free rein growing up so she's rather spoiled. She's always had a fascination with all things arcane, and as a child insisted she was a mage who hadn't manifested her powers yet. This, sadly, turned out not to be true, so she turned to inventing strange contraptions instead (and taking them apart - much to the annoyance of pretty much everyone).

 

Do they have any family?
Assuming the game lets her, sure, but if I have a choice they'll be estranged.

 

Are they better with children, animals, or neither?
She loves animals, but kids freak her out and she's hilariously awkward with them.

 

What’s the Inquisitor’s favorite food?
Because I'm a vegetarian, so is she.   But she loves anything spicy. Or sweet.

As a kid she used to hide out in the kitchen to avoid her family, so she picked up a few things.

She loves to read (her interest in magic never went away if even she can't use it herself), and she tries to draw but is terrible at it (just don't tell her that).

She loves her some fashion, and though she'll be a bit more practical while fighting, she'll still adorn herself with the shiny if it won't get in the way. I could see her having a thing for feathers, too.

She's a mess. She'll insist she knows where everything is though (not true).

 

Who do you think they’ll get along with best among their companions, if any?
I think she'll like Dorian a lot, because they come from similar backgrounds which they then opted to reject. She'll be fascinated by Cole and 'adopt' him as the younger brother she always wanted, and of course Solas will be her #1 crush (much to her own bewilderment and dismay).

 

Who will they romance, if anyone?
Solas, if possible. If not... maybe Josephine? Or her love for Solas will remain constant but unrequited... poor girl.

I'd love to give her a scar over her eyebrow and down her cheek. She got it by fighting some thugs while saving a damsel in distress. 'Cuz she's a BAMF like that.

I think she and my Warden will get along, because they're both complete weirdos! Hawke though... I think they'll respect each other because their values are similar but will clash personality-wise.

No opinion, really. She's pretty open minded. She has a soft spot for elves though, as the children of the elven servants she grew up with were the only kids who would play with her, and the servants themselves treated her more like family than her own ever did,

Ah, sure, why not? I try not to headcanon too hard before a game, because I want to figure it out as I go. But there's a few archetypal things I can be pretty sure about (which could change depending on how things are set up in-game).

The only thing I know for certain is that I'm running with a trickster archetype thing. So, a crow or raven has been in my mind from the beginning. I just realized I haven't posted in forever.  I did one for my canon dwarf playthrough, though, he may not be my first. If Solas ends up a romance I'll do a female elf mage first. If we never find out who the other two romances are, I'll do my female elf mage first anyways.  I'm not missing out on any of that Solass.

My Warden I'm using for her world state... they'd be pleasant to each other and wouldn't have too much to disagree about, but I'm not sure they'd easily become friends. My Hawke, on the other hand, would love my Inquisitor.

She doesn't have much of an opinion on most of the races, but she is curious about the ("normal") Qunari. How curious will depend on how Inquisition handles Qunari Inquisitors and their backgrounds. :U Either way, as a mage she definitely won't want to look into converting to the Qun.

yes. She is born from City Elven parents, who find refuge with the Dalish when she was young. for all her life she have hear her parents be called flat hears, even if they learned the Dalish ways. His father died hunting, a little before she was of age to have her Valaslin. she refused the Dalish tatoo on her face, to honor her City Elves heritage. Only her useful skill and the presence of her mother prevented the Keeper to send her away from the clan.

She was seen as an outcast. She stayed in the clan only because of her mother, but than she died a little before the start of the events of DAI, when she was going away from the clan.

not within the Dalish. but she still have a cousin in the grey Wardens and other two cousins and an uncle in the Denerim's Alienage. Do you know a certain Tabris family?

She is better with the animals, but she likes children too. She wouldn't mind telling stories to the children of the clan, or help with the halla.

roast with marrons. the salty and the sweet in the perfect mix.

only the minimun necessary. She was more the one who find the things to eat, than the one who cook. She is a good hunter.

she love stories, so she read a lot, and like to listen to them. the old storyteller in the clan was one of the few person of the clan she was friend with.

pratical. short hair, comfy clothes, boots (she hate go shoeless) and she is a happy girl.

she is always ready to everything. she is very well organized. but don't talk to her about fashion. she is a disaster in those things.

Varric and Solas. Varric because he is the better source of stories ever. and Solas have the same...sense of fashion. (I hope Viv can survive her).

she is mostly courious about dwarfs and Qunari. she don't know their culture much, and she would like to know more about them. She is fascinated by all the cultes, really. even the human ones, even if she don't like them all that much.

She have rebelled in her clan, but she admire the work the Dalish do to preserve thir lost culture. but she think they should sometimes let it go, and try to move on, and instead of digging to find their past, starting to use that past as a starting point to create a new civilization.

She admire the City Elves, who still manage to survive and fight for their palce in the world.

*hugs* I'm sorry you had a bad day. I'm going back to school tomorrow (I didn't have Monday classes) and my last semester wasn't so great. Now, I feel better knowing that I have the Solas thread to escape to. Everyone here has always been so nice to me even when my day sucks.

I would say a pale aqua color like this

I think a mixture of these two colors describes her perfectly as she is the type who would rather help than harm and would prefer to “talk things out.” She has is a natural at making people feel comfortable with her and putting their minds at ease.
She loves being outdoors and feels a connection to the earth. She would rather be there than anywhere else.
I also plan on her being a mage healer so health and healing really works here.

2. If they were an animal, which would they be?
I would say a butterfly, because she learns and accepts who she is by the end of the story. She transforms into something she never thought she could be at the beginning of the game.

3. Which music genre would best describe your Inquisitor?
Show tunes. She goes through the highs and lows. Everything seems quite exaggerated but she stays in a person's mind long after she is gone.

4. What season reflects their personality best?
Spring. It is a time of fresh beginnings, innocence, and love (she is a romantic, underneath it all)

5. If your Inquisitor was a force of nature, what kind would they be? (hurricane, earthquake, etc.)

Not sure on this one. Maybe a bad thunderstorm with lots of rain? She is more gloomy and depressed than angry/violent.

Neutral good, maybe? She listens to her intuition before anything else and she has a strong sense of what she sees as right and wrong.

7. Which element best describes them?
Spirit. It is the bridge between the physical and spiritual; the body and soul.

8. What scent would they be associated with, if any?
Lavender. Real subtle, not a strong scent but sweet.

9. Do they have a background story?
I think this would depend on the storyline we are given in the game. I would say that Yasmet, being a Vashoth, has no emotional ties to The Qunari and feels nothing for their ideals. She sees the way people treat her. They are afraid of her, given her appearance. Because of this, she likes to go out of her way to be kind to others. Still, people think what they want to think and she really doesn't like the fact that she was born in the body she has. She wishes to be small and feminine like the elves and humans she is used to seeing. Men find her intimidating which hurts because she can't help the way that she looks.
She was also born a mage which puts another mark on her. She feels like someone up there hates her because she is feared and misunderstood even more. When she becomes branded with the mark of the fade, she gets resentful at whatever gods may be (I guess you could say she's agnostic). She never really asked for this power and she doesn't feel like she was the right choice for the inquisition.

10. Do they have any family?
This also depends on the pre-made backstory. If given a choice, I would say she gets along fine with her parents but is an only child so she is pretty lonely.

11. Are they better with children, animals, or neither?
She likes children just fine but they don't seem to like her. The animals are not nearly as afraid of her. She likes dogs, deer, and rabbits most.

12. What’s the Inquisitor’s favorite food?
Not sure what they eat in Thedas but I can see her having something like a beef stew and a yummy rootbeer float on the side.

13. Can they cook?
She's kind of in the in between. She can cook a little bit but nothing fancy.

I imagine, if she has put down roots somewhere, that she enjoys gardening.

There aren't many fashionable clothes in a Qunari size..

A little unorganized but not terribly so.

Solas is the closest person I could see understanding her. Sera might be a possibility as well, if she's not too crazy.

My Warden was a male circle elf mage so she would probably ask questions about how he deals with being a race that is oppressed along with being a mage. However, she wouldn't agree with his views on the circle.

She would not like my Hawke. Lol! He's really stubborn and resorts to brute force as opposed to the diplomatic approach.

She's not used to seeing dwarves so she doesn't have much of an opinion on them.

 

I imagine that most of her friends would be human—at least the one's who are open minded about having Qunari friends. She realizes that, with humans, there are the good and the bad and the everything in between.

 

She secretly envies the elves for their beauty and grace but kind of looks at them with rose colored glasses. From far away, they seem much more in harmony with the earth than she could ever be and people find elves quite attractive compared to the scary Qunari.

 

She has no ties to the Qunari people. She doesn't hate them, she just doesn't like what their kind have done to her when it comes to people's impressions. She disagrees with the Qun and is glad she was never introduced into that way of life. Nobody needs to tell her what to do with her life, thank you very much.

If the Fade is made of dreams and nightmares, I would not have to worry. Demons would either be laughing so hard they'd leave me alone, or would avoid me in event it was catching.

As for "I don't see Solas being like Morrigan at all, though? Like, not even a little?" - No,no I think it'll be vice versa actually - Vivienne as arrogant ... and Solas as someone rational but in the same time someone quickly losing his patience because "it's more complicated than that!" 

 

Hah! You know, for some reason, that had never occurred to me! But now... I can't unsee it. What an interesting mental image. Now I'm even more curious to see them in action.

I just thought about how Solas has a good chance of being one of the remaining LIs and it made me happy.   I bet he would have a very interesting romance path. Though I wonder if he'd be as shy about it as I've seen others speculate.
