I have a bad feeling something is going to happen to our Inquisitors. Maybe the mark kills them or traps them in the Fade.  I dunno...something has to happen to make room for a new hero in DA4.   I just hope Solas is there when it happens...and not because he caused it.   Thedas is going to be full of heroes by the time these games end. :-P

I don't think the have to get rid of the inquisitor to make room for DA4,  if its set in Tevinter, the inquisitor  (if the inquisition still exists) has no reason to be there and would likely not be welcome.  

So I really don't think they will force the death of the inquisitor.

ALSO CAN I POINT OUT HOW JEALOUS I AM THAT THIS MEANS THE OTHER ROMANCES HAVE HAD 2 YEARS (3 INCLUDING THE INGAME TIMELINE) OF A FULL RELATIONSHIP WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE ROMANCES?! EVEN BLACKWALL GETS A LONG TIME LOVIN'!.. no disrespect to Blackwall fans.

 

Can you imagine the delicious irony if it occurred to us that - in case Inquisitor can't go back to Thedas for some reason - all those other romances may end up with sads and lovers parting ways in most excruciating of fashions, while Solas romance may at least have a slight chance to be continued in the future?

Made the mistake of playing that scene when I was pregnant last year. I called my mother sobbing and she thought something was wrong with me.

What if Solas somehow knew that the mark was eventually going to kill Lavellan, and that was a part of why he tried to keep his distance.

I suppose he might have reason to do that for even a disliked Inquisitor, but probably not? His mission and goals seem to have already been in place long before any of that stuff happened.

Hmm, well now I'm convinced that this romance is probably going nowhere. This is the end of the Inquisitor's story, and it's pretty obvious that there won't be a chance to go with him to do whatever he's doing. Plus we haven't seen him while the other LIs were with the Inquisitor for 2 years as far as we know. I'd say Solas lost the best LI bowl. 

 

I'm curious about how this will turn out, though I'm leaning towards being more unsatisfied than intrigued when it comes to the romance honestly. As for Solas' story in general, that's always intriguing so I'm sure that won't disappoint me! Can't wait to see what strings he might be pulling in future games!

Huh... where does this come from ? And where those flowers are supposed to be found?

Also - I've never pegged Solas as the flower kind of guy. For him, they'd likely be 'fleeting', like any 'human' gifts.

 

... Maybe someone confused Blackwall sending flowers to Josie every week. You see them on her desk, once you reach banter with companions, indicating that they have feelings towards one another.
