That pretty much sums it up! Some of the elves in Thedas, seriously.. bioware has landed on gold.
I wonder what Solas will look like when he turns around in Abelas' armor. I can't imagine him in those leggings

Yeah, I'll probably go into overload and brains will start to fry.... Oh I can imagine it alright ![]()

But that means I only have 10 days to get my Lavellan from Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts to the endgame AND beat the first two DLC. And I have to beat the frigging Nightmare with Varric, Cole, Solas and a mage!Lavellan because I care more about RP value than who is best for the quest.
Lucky you. I only just got her to Val Royeaux!
One hundred and thirty hours to do in nine days? Is that even possible? *quickly does math* Okay, it's possible if I don't sleep. Or eat, or go to the bathroom, or do housework or anything.
My gods, @Onecrazymonkey1, he is beautiful!
@FernRain, you think Solas is wearing Abelas' armour? Really?
I don't kow if I want that or not.
Still, he better still have all that armour I gave him. (He probably sold it though, let's be honest.)
And to be honest, I really thought there would be more pages when I woke up.
Please. Please. Please.
You started up the feels again, now I'm snifflin'. ![]()

Delurks:
I really hate to say this but I have a feeling if we end up fighting Solas then it's probably our doom. I'm sure he's going to need our power and since his story is not over it will probably end up with him killing us (Hell the inquisitors who drank from the well can probably end up being his slaves anyway if we force his hand)..... I mean he is appearing after two years because he wants to be found. I also highly doubt you will be able to talk him out of whatever he's going to do. There might be an option to give up the mark willingly without a fight, in which case you most likely die from that as well. The optimistic side of me hopes you'll be able to run off with him and help him by your own choosing but in all honesty; my quizzy is no push over and if she doesn't like what he's up to then she won't go for it (which means she's done for). as for my guys/gals who wouldn't run off with him, I'm honestly scared lol. I mean they have to get rid of the Inquisitor and his/her Power somehow or else they would be expected to save the world again in a dragon age 4....and That's not going to happen.
Also, Solas had some conversation in inquisition talking about people in power becoming corrupt and unable to give it up...I can't remember his exact quote. I think it was a conversation with Cassandra, ah the foreshadowing.
Don't worry people these are just my own theories and ramblings! sorry if people have brought up the same ideas but although I lurk in this thread from time to time, it's been a long while since I've wrote something in here.
Hope I didn't legitimately upset anyone, I'm not trying to be negative at all jut musing over it.
EDIT: Oh god! I drank from the well every time.... <.<
:Jumps back into the Shadows:
That's something I can see happening with a Solas who never liked your Inquisitor, but we've received enough hints that being utterly intrigued does not mean stabbed to death, so at least a romanced Lavellan is safe
I almost pity those who punched him... ![]()

I think a lot of us are having the feels so clearly the blanket fort in here is still needed.

So you think an inquisitor who is friends with him but not a romance is safe as well then? I just freak out because I don't put it past the writers to try and feed on new batches of fan tears.

Well it seems our choices will make or break this DLC. If we were jerks to our companions, they won't exactly run to our side and help us, and I doubt a rude Inquisitor would be warmly welcomed by Solas. Like Cole for example. If he's made more human he will be different now, or if made more spirit. I'm guessing if Blackwall was made a Grey Warden, we'll know how that went. Solas romanced or a good friend to the Inquisitor will doubtfully harm them in anyway and Solas is not the focus of this DLC, so he's not part of the main villain plot.
Also in the trailer your Inquisitor exits an eluvian to see all these Qunari turned to stone and Solas standing on a hill in front of another eluvian. 2 things could happen in my opinion. He talks to you and leaves, or talks to you, leaves and breaks the spell causing the Qunari to attack you.
After the yelling I did after that panel (scared my cat, whoops) and all the excitement faded I....was left with dread. :c Look at Solas' dark grey digs and compare to the happy sunny green thing he was wearing when we first met him.
I need some of this thread's famous optimism to rub off on me now, because I have a bad feeling about this.
I'm really curious what the difference will be with Cole. But with the promises of choices mattering and it seems like they have listened to a lot of our feedback even while they do what they need to do for whatever future plot they are planning, I trust in the writers. But I'm also prepared to need a hug afterward.

Well, that would be a total dick move on his part. Definitely for the Inquisitors he hates.
I feel the need to write a fic. Hmm... should I... should I not. ![]()

i mentioned his darker outfit earlier in the forum and yea i'm super worried, too. Not much we can do except hope right now.

Relax!
It's all in how you treated him! He was most likely in disguise as Solas and he's wearing the colors that best represent who he feels he is. They said your Lavellan romanced will be utterly intrigued. I can't see that as a bad thing. Utterly pissed off would be reason for all of us to worry!
I really hope he is in the DLC for longer then ten minutes or something. I could picture him just popping up at the end and the credits roll. I guess although I would prefer to have a happy outcome, the main thing I want is to feel satisfied enough to feel closure. So I'm also hoping he appears relatively early on.

Since I hope to be able to leave with Solas at the end of the DLC, I'd rather him show up nearer to the end. He's obviously not a main player in the DLC so he might only get a bit of screen time, which I'd rather have at the end in order to allow our inquisitor more options on how to deal with him (such as elope lol)
Hi there. I just wanted to de-lurk to share my hellspiral Solasmancer song. Cheers.

Do you think that Cole knows who he is, or did Solas block that from him as well?
I like to think that Cole knows.
Which brings me to the question: Who are you taking with you in your party? If we only get to meet with Solas once, we can't see everyone's reactions. Who's will be most important to you.
I haven't the foggiest. They would all be so interesting. I think I would take Dorian or Vivienne for their magical abilities, depending on how I spec Kani this time; Blackwall because of the huge argument between he and Solas. I would love for Blackwall to find out how much of a hypocrit Solas was; and maybe Cole. But Bull's and Cassandra's reactions would be marvellous, I think. The spy who was fooled, and the believer who is confronted with the reality of an opposing belief system.
It makes sense for Solas to show up near the end. Sadly.
Do you think that Cole knows who he is, or did Solas block that from him as well?

Cole knew who Solas was the entire time, just as he knew the truth about Blackwall. That was verified at some point (on Twitter again?) awhile back.

Er... I was just looking up stuff on YouTube to see if anymore news of the DLC was announced and on the sidebar I saw the vid for an old Celine Dion song and started laughing at how perfect it was for Solas and Lavellen! The connection to the YouTube search was so off and yet so right at the same time! ![]()

Yeah... that's the thing. In a Twitch convo earlier I think it was with Mike, he implied Solas will only show up near the end. Unless he's trolling us.
Damn, I hope they won't do that 5 minute Witch Hunt thing to us again. 5 minutes of conversation with Solas would definitely not "utterly intrigue" my Inquisitor.
The question is, what did Solas make Cole forget post-game? Their convo or him entirely?
Only his plans, so that way Cole wouldn't follow or try to help. I know some of us would have been really sad if he had forgotten Solas entirely.
