I just thought about how Solas has a good chance of being one of the remaining LIs and it made me happy.   I bet he would have a very interesting romance path. Though I wonder if he'd be as shy about it as I've seen others speculate.

 

I think I'd like to romance him over Blackwall or Varric, now. I think he'd be interesting as an LI as well as a companion.

to this day Jacob is the only party member i don't give a crap about because i can't tolerate talking to him because the devs felt it f****** necessary to make attempting to have a conversation with him akin to laying yourself out like Rose in Titanic UGHhHhHhHh. [CRINGES]

 

 

umfg ikr. It put me off romancing Jacob because FemShep's, 'flirt' voice was so cringey and awkward. I think for everyone else it was fine but then it got awkward again in 3 with EVERY LI. FFS. I love Jacob, though. Shame what they did to him. I thought he was totes awesome and totally HAWT. Shep's flirting ruined him romance for me.

Part of the solution here, Laidlaw explained, is, “Let’s not have gifts that buy affection. Let’s not have sex be the end goal. Let’s instead try and reach for something that’s like genuine affections and let you go up and say, ‘Hey you, we’re going to kiss now.’ And let players enjoy that, and feel like, yeah, that’s a real thing.”

I'm at the end of my first ME2 playthrough and Jacob... he's a great character and all that, but I loathe speaking with him because Shep suddenly sounds like a phone sex operator and moves like a cat in heat -.-  Haha, sorry I know that's totally off topic but I had to chime in because it's atrocious ON TO NICER THINGS!

Also, is it just me or do his feet look enormous? I can't tell if there's a rock in front of part of it or not. And you know what they say about that.

I think ultimately the most attractive thing about Solas is his demeanor and his sharp gaze. Not sure if it's just me but from what we've seen, he has a really confident demeanor and it's attractive because it's not cocky or immediately evident. You have to really look at him and the way that he carries himself -- and it reflects in his walk! And his sharp gaze itself is so... Enough said.
