@Sable - Yeah. I really enjoyed it - like I said - for a popular game it did "go there" but you know...it could have gone farther and I would have LOVED it. But I recognize that's not everyone's cup of tea. (no Solas-pun intended). I like IT BLEAK.

So I usually hear that banter well before Solas leaves. In fact, I usually get the whole chess match as well.

One direction I think they could've explored more is faith and power. Vivienne's the only one who really discusses it at any length, how belief gives quizzy a lot of power. Then a few characters bring it up from time to time, but it never really gets discussed. Most of the dialogue around faith is about what you believe, and how it helps you, rather than how you use it.
At the very least, I would've really liked the opportunity to play a Villain with Good Publicity who does really awful things under the guise of faith. And maybe even believes him/herself to be in the right.
I really don't know what fourth companion I'll bring along though. Cole/Cassandra is a no-brainer to me, but I can't settle on a fourth person. Might as well just be a 3 people party, at least on my Solavellan playthrough. On my Seralavellan playthrough, I'll bring Sera as a fourth.

@Sable - That would have been fantastic. Maybe they'll push that a bit more in the DLC --- but I think they would have had to set it up more. I dunno - maybe the "Inquisitor believed they were the Herald" and was an ass will play into the upcoming court hearings. I love manipulative characters like that - because they always get theirs in the BEST WAYS.

Yeah, I suspect bringing Bull along might be very interesting, and provide extra banters/lore. But then I'm torn between Bull and Dorian, and I don't know who to chose. Varric is also up there, being someone that got along nicely with Solas. I just want a Solas-friendly party, to be honest. I'll see what I'll chose and go with whatever I'll feel is right when I'll play.
I'll probably just bring all party members at various configurations during various stages. I hardly ever stick to just one team for too long.

I'm still trying to get Sera to like me, but it's hard and I'm done with everything in the main quests- my only hope to trigger the roof cookie talk is the last few Red Jenny war table quests. Here's hoping.

I don't know if that reason will be revisited since we know the reason, but I do wonder if the fact he did let his orb get into Cory's hands will be revealed to the Inquisitor. I mean since the Anchor is acting up and it IS some effect of Fen'Harel's magic and all.....maybe?

I think just about everyone (other than perhaps Cole) has some reason to be ticked at Solas once it comes to light that the orb was his. Oh, and he's Fen'Harel. And he's been lying through his teeth. Though come to think of it, Bull might not care all that much if he's Tal-Vashoth and he and Solas became bros. His name did mean "liar" after all.
I want to bring Cole and Bull with me, but I'm replaying JoH with them and remembering how f***ing squishy they both are without me babysitting their actions. Maybe I'll just knock the difficulty down to Casual for Trespasser. Dorian, of course, comes everywhere with me. He is Best Mage Security Blanket.
I am talking to one of my friends over FB and she is not very emotionally expressive and all, and she laughs when I mention I have the pre-feels for the inevitable feels. And my boyfriend didn't finish the game but didn't want me to spoil anything so I can't explain or talk to him about the feelings I have.
