All these pretty Lavellans. ;_; I got DAI on PC for the mods, but trying to install them and them breaking with each patch gives me such a headache that I've been playing vanilla. xD

 

As long as you're not using anything listed by the DAI Modding tumblr as being broken (and that list is kept up to date) and remember to remove face texture and vitaar mods before going into the BE then you should be okay.  Have you got the DAI Modding Tools Suit?  Because if not you should grab that.  It keep your mod manager up to date.

I am so, so sorry, Lana, but I need a canon run.

 

Doing the same thing ATM with Clariel.  It's weird because I started the canon run before the announcement of Trespasser, then realized I would never have time to finish the canon run before DLC drops.  So I went back to her post-game file to replay Jaws and Descent without Solas.

 

I guess I didn't realize how much growing up and maturing the character did over Inquisition until playing the very beginning and the end back-to-back like this.  She's so guarded post-game, and almost nothing fazes her anymore.  And her tolerance for bull**** definitely took a dip  

 

 

Luckily, 90% of mods are still functional with the current patch, and basically all cosmetic mods like Skyhold outfits, eyebrows, or face textures have worked with every patch. Things will probably continue to function as normal with the last patch coming out, and if not the folks who are coding the mod manager have been very quick to update for compatibility.

 

And let's face it: the cosmetic ones are the important ones for our pretty, pretty princesses

Yeah, I'm sad that the patch is probably going to break the mods I've got installed for a few days- but, the community has been pretty quick about getting them to work again! If I play while I'm waiting for updates, she's just going to have to wear a helmet until they get fixed. XD

I pressed enter too soon. Basically I mean I started a new PT too and I'm gonna do the Templar quest and marry Cullen.

Welp, we've uncovered the true reason behind him leaving the Inquisition.  He's not the rebel god because he actually cares about rebellion; he just joins up with different groups, steals clothes, and runs off

Mythal: You shouldn't have given the Orb to Corypheus, Dread Wolf.
Solas: It was so last century... Also I should pay the full price for that swanky new pelt gear only you know the secret location to, but I'm as broke as ever, so... I'm sorry.
Mythal: I'm sorry too, old friend.

In the final scene of the DLC he finds out she tricked him and the pelt gear he's wearing is a cheap knock-off, not the authentic designer brand. He slowly falls on his knees with an expression of pain on his face as the screen fades to black.

I had started one a few weeks ago and really loved her face so I decided I'd go slow and wait for skyhold until after the patch and I've completed the game completely with Revas.
