Can't decide if I want to go and find the couple mosaic pieces I am missing since Trespasser is so final.  I'm currently working on JoH, and then I still have Descent to do.  Been away from the game so long Nightmare is kicking my butt a bit, lol.  (My canon PT is on Nightmare)  I feel so rusty!

 

Mosaic pieces are what was left in mine too. Hmm. I also didn't complete one of the Hissing Wastes temples now that I think of it. I have to generate a new endgame save anyway, so I'll wrap up that temple and maybe grab the mosaic pieces or anything else I might want to do/visit/have/take screenshots of/etc before backing up all my saves and removing some of them to make room for Trespasser.

My work productivity has gone to s*** the last few days. I'm pretending to be an adult and do my work, but here I am, scouring the forums and vibrating in my seat. It's a sickness. A madness. It has to stop.

 

I have already made plans to have booze on hand for Tuesday. I'm sure I'll need it.

 

Same for me, and I have a deadline tomorrow, and I work from home

Hmm, I didn't think about that, but I should probably get some wine. I did plan on having chocolate, a playlist with the most depressing music one could find, and a pen and paper. If there's going to be feels, I must capitalize on them by generating melodramatic writing.

I agree with everything that Thread Dad said though. It's been a heck of a year and a half hanging around this thread and experiencing all of it with everyone here. I'll miss you all when we finally return to the wilds of the real world.

I romanced Anders, but romanced Fenris twice afterwards.. I was hoping for Awakening Anders 

Fenris is my bae.

 

YES I was exactly the same, I was hoping for flirty, sassy Anders from Awakening with a hint of a chip in his shoulders about mages.

 

I think in theory, his character development was great, but in practice it didn't work for me personally.

 

I tend to switch between Isabella and Fenris now, depending on my character and what I feel like.

My canon goes like this Alistair->Fenris->Solas (and onlyhaseyesforGarrus->Garrus->Garrus in Mass ha) in terms of the romances. and yours?

(I wanted Morrigan->Fenris->Cassandra and Garrus->Garrus->Garrus but thats another story)

 

ahh, I too wanted Morrigan & Cassandra... why do they make the best female LIs straight? Still, not complaining at the selection Dragon Age gives for female PCs (compared to Mass Effect, it's super good).

 

My canon started off as Alistair -> Anders -> Solas, but I think it's now turned into Zevran -> Isabella -> Solas. I kind of have complications with canon though because my computer was stolen several months ago and so I lost my canon state (yeah... I wasn't happy, to say the least), so I made a new one... and decided I liked those LIs better lol.

 

It should be said that I probably like all of the Origins LIs more than any other LI dragon age has made... except Solas. The characters in Origins are still my favourites and I have a massive attachment to that game.

 

ME is Garrus -> Garrus -> Garrus . Although I'm really partial to Jack and Tali too (both of whom should have been bi and/or gay, in my self-interested opinion, haha).

I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding over Labor Day weekend.  So between that and the Solas feels, I've just accepted that nothing is getting done.
 
Also, hot on the heels of warm, fuzzy, drunky "woo friends getting married" feels on Sunday, the hellspiral arrives on Tuesday.  I'm not sure I have the emotional capacity for all of this 

I has money. Meaning tomorrow it's gonna be Descent time! What expectations should I have about this DLC?

Interesting lore and two cool dwarves who accompany you into the Deep Roads. Not a lot of dialogue from your companions though, and personally I liked Jaws a bit better because the open exploration is more my schtick than Descent's large dungeon delve. But there are some really breathtakingly beautiful environments in Descent.

Chattiest companions (as I recall) were Varric and Sera. Cole has a few interesting things to say too.

I would recommend you bring Cole to The Descent but in the boss fight, he's squishy squishy. I had to swap Dorian back in just for that fight.

Josephine has had banter occasionally with one of her helpers about a request Solas has made, some hunch he has, or an invitation to meet with some scholars (which he allegedly declined). It never triggered a mission, it's just there for athmosphere.

I'll try to progress further into the story and see what happens.

It's unoffical, but good enough that I included it in my FMA playlist (the only unoffical song to be in there. Although I would have Romi Paku's cover of Tobira no Mukoue e (I'm not a fan of the 2003 anime, but I frigging love the music) if I could find it anywhere).  I also love Yui's original version of Again.  And every opening and closing of that anime.

Ok so I don't expect to be taken away by this DLC as much as JoH did (Ameridan&Telana forever), because I also prefer open exploration over dungeons, and I'm not extra fond of dwarven stuff, even though the lore is probably gonna be very interesting.

And I planned on bringing Varric & Cole for sure, along Cassandra, so I hope it won't be too quiet.

 

All in all, I don't expect much, but it'll be a nice occasion to jump back into the game just before Trespasser.
