I think that is perfectly fine. We can cry over games - be it endings, character deaths or the fact that your favourite character isn't compatible with the character that you want to play. =) I remember that I was totally devastated after finding out that Varric wasn't romanceable. Fell in love with Solas' voice and little laugh, though, and never looked back. Definitely in my top 5 list of favourite characters ever, that egghead.

I switched to Solas not long after his name dropped because I was completely taken with and intrigued by bald elf mcsmugs from the first tiny look at him in concept art or whatever it was. I wasn't super fast tho but I guess nobody wanted the name cause at the time only like .. 5-6 people (or so it seemed) to post in excitement about the bald elf, lmao

Varric should have been an option for Cadash the second after you meet Bianca and clock her in the nose.....
and oh gosh, yes, I was used to crying over games, especially the ME3 ending (hell, the entire game, what with half my squad DYING on me), but I just felt like a big baby for crying over straight Cullen lol
but it is teaching me to temper my expectations and hopes for MEA; when you hope for one thing soooo much and for so long (like I came up with my PC to romance Cullen in 2012, when he still would've been a human lol) you're bound for disappointment...
Which is also why I'm not dwelling on Trespasser much... if it is bad, I'll just dwell in happy headcanon land. (In headcanon land Fenris and Hawke also still live in a lovely cottage in the woods where they are raising their adopted mage elf child).

Five choices for Jaws of Hakkon? Well I guess it would be mostly did you do this or did you not do this. Still, 5 for JoH and only one for Descent seems weird as Descent seems like it would have more impact going forward.

You can turn on spoilers in the Keep and it should "unhide" everything for you. I had to do that so I could choose the correct ending for Dorian (he said he was staying!) and choose what I did with Fairbanks as the Keep didn't recognize that I'd made a choice for him at all.

That's very close to my sister's name We both got American names, since we were born in US at a time our parents thought we'd stay there - but nope. Hence most people know Amy as 'Emi' over here, 'cuz it's the closest to how they come to spelling it in Polish. I got it easier, since Tina sounds pretty much the same in English as it does in Polish.

I think it depends on your own perception to it. Her name is Japanese for that's how I meant it and I have the characters in its name meaning. It can easily be perceived as an English name but it is also a known name in JapanEmi's beautiful! I didn't know it was a Japanese name

Speaking of baldness, there actually is a nice mod that gives him a shaved head and it looks pretty great. I'm using it right now. Though I'm fine with both versions.
Okay, so... I don't want any spoilers regarding the content. However, "endgame epilogue style" makes me curious. What does it mean? Does it imply an end of the DA series? And if not, will it show us the development of the Inquisition?

And I believe so! The trailer hints at that, and we'll probably see different perspectives on where the Inquisition has gone. It's likely we'll be able to have some choice over the Inquisition's legacy (I'm personally hoping we may even get a chance to call it off completely, definitely not confirmed though).
Hopefully that's a suitably non-spoilery answer.

Hahaha, I love your impossible canon for ME. Couldn't imagine romancing Mordin myself, but damn I have a massive soft spot for him.
I think a lot of people were put off by how Kaidan was pushed onto you much the same way Ashley was if you talked to them frequently enough and were nice enough in ME1. It took me a second playthrough to realise how great Kaidan was. He's lovely and thoughtful and also super handy on the battlefield. Buuuut... I just can't resist romancing the super snarky space lizard/raptor/bird-thing with the scars (sorry).
This does make me think - after this DLC is out, surely a lot of us all stick around in the forums, even if in different areas, ey? Like I'm sure we'll all have opinions when ME:A and DA4 come out, and we'll hang around on those fan threads.

I can't wait to play ME1 again without talking to Kaiden so I don't have to kill him. I've never been able to see his character in ME3. He seems like a good companion, and I like his council confrontation dialogue better than Ashely's.

Should we part ways Solasmancers, know that our love for Bioware games shall always reunite us: whether it be in DA4 threads, MEA threads, or other sites altogether. Forever shall we remember our love for Solas! Unless he does something uncharacteristically stupid and unforgivable, in which case we shall forever remember what once WAS our love for Solas.
