Same. I've been online almost as long. *high five for us old internet vets* I'm dating someone I met in a game a decade ago. A couple of my friends I've actually never been in the same room with, or same country, but we're 'together' via pics and videos and texts and chats all the time. I'm pretty much 'me' everywhere - online, in person.


It's nice when it happens with anyone whose work you enjoy. A tiny gesture of appreciation.

I too have been online quite a long time and met lots of people from online offline. In fact, one of the girls I met in the Cullen thread was a bridesmaid in my wedding a few years ago.

Many of my exes are from online, still friends with most of them. I started years ago in the old yahoo roleplaying chatrooms. Lol.

Same here! My Lavellan is a warrior, and she totally behaves like one. (In my headcanon she wanted to be Keeper one day, but couldn't because she didn't develop any magical abilities. You can imagine how happy she was when she found out she got 'dem Fade magic hands'.) But yes, mad Solas is great! I love the angry bickering that Lavellan and he can have. Mine deeply respects Solas (mainly because of his knowledge of magic and the fade) but she totally can't get over him being all high and mighty. She'd probably give him the middle finger if she saw him again - and then be a sobbing mess.

 

I like the sound of her. I generally like badass, hot-headed, feisty ladies

As for how she would react when she sees Solas: She would pin him to the ground, whispering imperatively "Tell me you missed me!" in his ear. Aww, thank you! She's so fun to play because I usually don't play characters like her. I usually tend to go for mages, or healers/supporters in other games. Your Lavellan sounds wonderful, too! Might you give me permission to draw that scene? It would probably only be a quick sketch with flat colours, but DAMN I'd love to draw that. =)

Ahaha, of course I would! I try to draw every day (I want to study game design one day, took an advanced art course in school and graduated this year), so every ounce of inspiration is definitely worth it. And I get to make you happy! Would you send me one or two pictures of your Lavellan? =)

Oh..no it wasn't in there. I..umm..was doing some pretty naughty things back then so it must have been in an adult place. I seem to recall a very popular guild that was mostly women who would seduce male characters. They were trying to get me to join...

I haven't actually learned how to spell it in Katakana yet (I'm still trying to learn all the Hirigana) but I love the pronunciation of words in Katakana. Like 'Aisukyandē' for pop-cicle: it's basically 'ice candy'. Why can't our language be that cool?

I did a small survey on the thread a while ago, and the most popular vallaslin was indeed Mythal. The most popular reason for choosing the Mythal vallaslin was: "It looks pretty."

I was born in Yokohama but I was adopted by my family and moved to America when I was seven. I was skeptical about commenting about your name being in Katakana because I read a lot of things that are not meant to be Japanese in its pronunciation n_n;

I like keeping my vallaslin as well. "Stop. You're perfect just as you are." -dies-

Though I did keep it only because it fit my character most, my canon warrior drank from the well and kept the vallaslin knowing it was slave markings because she would be damned if the "shems" forgot what they did to her people when she told the world about the meaning (because she has this whole plan of elven uprising in her head).
