I actually can't see this happening, since we know we'll get an extensive conversation with him, I can't see Solas wording things like that (he is very aware of what he says), lastly... Why wouldn't she run after him? Yeah, the Eluvian cracks (for some reason, I don't think they just crack unless he broke it one he passed through from the other side) but he held her stare and she just let him go?
Also, pretty sure the mark won't pass on, whatever that means.
Edit: also, the all "I don't need you anymore" would imply he was using her, even after the explanation, and I kind find it hard to believe he'd say something like that..
If he would though, I would be over him XD
I can see the encounter going many many ways. Sadly, most of the ones I envision seem disappointing, and far from utterly intriguing. Not to be hating on someone else's theory, but this would be just another one of those. I figure the Solavellan path is already full up of pain, sorrow and melodramatic stage exits on Solas' part. I guess I just don't see how piling more of that on top of what's already there would intrigue anyone.
YMMV of course. :3
I guess this is why I'm looking at the 8th with cautious optimism. I really hope to be surprised, and that they manage to live up to that tweet. I do. But, I also realize that as far as my personal experience goes, it is unlikely that they will succeed.
Thanks! I guess I'm just bracing myself for the worst since, you know, this is Bioware. It's not like they haven't disappointed people before. *coughME3endingcough* ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
