I come from the Land Down Under, and you can bet for sure the Solas love has spread over here.

So when will this patch arrive to PS4?...
I'm currently after Here Lies The Abyss & Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts, exploring Emerald Graves.
I'm preparing on exploring all of the remaining open areas, then do the two DLCs and then go to Temple of Mythal..
But I really want to wear clothes of my choice in the last romantic-and-then-nonromantic romance scene at Crestwood...
Thanks
Veterinary medicine actually, I've been squinting at CT-scans of cats the entire summer instead of
playing DAIsunbathing and doing other summer-related stuff XD
The egg-love has also spread to places people hate, like Israel..
I'm pretty scared of saying where I am from because I don't want people to base their opinions of me on that
To my defense I'll say I belong to the left wing.
-ahem-
I'm prepared for feels. I'm also very interested to see how spirit Cole asks "how you doing?" to my Inquisitor.
Actually, he probably won't ask. He's probably just going to hand my Quizzy a frilly cake and say "The Qunari seem very angry at you. And they have a dragon. You need to stop making people with dragons angry."
Not to dredge something up from 20 pages ago, but can I please sig that quote? XD
Ooh, patch. Really looking forward to playing on monday.
I am curious though. Do we have a location where the people who inevitably get the DLC first [usually xbox/ps4 people] can post spoilers? Or will it just be this thread? I'll probably want to spoil a few things before playing.

There's no patch for PC, and it seems like the Xbox patch release was a fluke :/
I'm from Germany. Here, our german Solas has the same voice as Leonard from the Big Bang Theory in the german synchronisation. Our hobo apostate Solas is on the next level. Thankfully, I'm very fluent in English and play every game in English if given the choice.

I support you, and I support Israel. Only love from this thread. ![]()
THEY DON'T MAKE ANY SENSE.
These seem more like Golden Nug based achievements than the DLC ones. I don't need more main game trophies. I already have 100% ![]()
Interesting! Haven't seen too many games go back and add achievements. Most of those look like newgame+
Here, have some fucking weird achievements.

Congrats, we get to replay the game 7 more times!

I understand how you feel coming from Oklahoma. Backwards redneck bible thumping barbarians...I've heard my share of hateful things about my state, but what can you do? The correct answer is love Solas, right? I'm glad all it takes to unite people from different places is a fictional character.
How many hundreds of people have made the cat scan joke at you?
To many to count
I have actually begun starting conversations with trying to counter act any attempts at humour XD
Random friend of the family: "So, what are you studying right now?"
Me: "I'm actually writing my master thesis on CT-scanning of cat stifles. And yes, I have heard the cat scanning joke before."
Random friend of the family: "Haha, but it's so funny because you cat scan actual cats!"
Me: "......."
Random friend of the family: "It's really funny!"
Me: *leaves*

Noooooo,
I like this game any everything, but I am not good at doing quick runs of it and I've already put more hours than I care to think about into multiple playthroughs.
Still, reach Skyhold at level 5 or lower? I'd have to do that on casual. That In Your Heart Shall Burn quest is the hardest part of the game. I've never done it at any level lower than about 9.
Is this list a secret ploy to make me annoyed so I can stop staring off into the space and being emo about the end of my Inquisitor? Because it's working.
good afternoon, Solas thread.
Anyone seen Lady Insanity's speculation on how Trespasser will go in regards to Solavellan?
Source: http://ladyinsanity....espasser-can-go
Spoiler
Is it odd that I could actually see this happening? I'm not sure how I feel about this.

oh man, that feels too real. I really hope we get much much more than that - I would hope for more than one encounter, and Solas to be more than incidental to the plot. Even if it ends sadly, I'd like one last kiss scene, please.
I've been lurking here for a few months following a lot of the fantastic speculation (and gorgeous art!), but I finally made an account when I was able to splurge and buy the game. I haven't even personally experienced the full hellspiral and I already know I'll be so glad to come back here and know that everyone else will be like "yuuuppp". I'll have to wait to get JoH/Descent/Trespasser until later, but I know I won't be able to stay away from the spoilers. I'm way to wrapped up in the story, I need to see how they close this particular chapter -- our chapter, as the Inquisitor. I can't wait! I know it's gonna hurt. I'm ready. BRING IT, WEEKES & CO.
She's actually an archer rogue! I like to pew pew death from afar and generally be sneaky. And with her face, most wouldn't expect her to be such a capable threat, which is how she likes it.
Also, I cannot get over how gorgeous the game is. I've barely progressed at all because I get distracted just exploring and admiring the landscape and the architecture and all the myriad little details. DA:I is reminding me how much I love that in video games, that sort of immersion and attention to detail.
Oh yeah, DA:I is gorgeous. I spent about the first twenty hours in the Hinterlands in my first playthrough, marvelling at everything before I actually did anything plotwise. Take your time an enjoy the game ![]()
I'm usually a massive mage girl (it's my favourite class for origins and DA2), but honestly, I have to agree with you. archer rocks in DA:I, it's so fun running around in stealth and sniping things before they see ya coming. Have fun!
Ugh I hate leaving this thread, people are so beh outside.
What's with the proportional pro-mage hate? Why do people think that pro-mages are insane or fail-at-think-good-do'h?
Oh god I know, I just avoid the rest of the forum because of it. There are multiple examples of Thedosian societies which have existed with a much fairer view of magic without everyone bursting into flaming abominations. Tevinter would just be a crumble of ruins otherwise, if we're to believe abominations are as bad as they make out. Besides, in a society where mages are integrated with others and not trapped away in towers, most people would be far less ignorant of magical theory and be far better at gauging risk, noticing warning signs, and dealing with abominations. if mages are just ordinary people, they're far likely to consider other people's livelihood before doing something stupidly risky like demon summoning.
raaaaaargh hsisssss /rantover
*delurks*
So where is everyone in here from?
I've been lurking around this thread for ages hehe (Solas thread gnome, or something like it) and have assumed that everyone here are from the US or UK except me (swedish). Just how globally has the egg-love spread?
I hail originally from the county of Gloucetsershire - which has inspired writers such as Jane Austen, J.R.R.Tolkien (although there is some argument over which 'shire is THE Shire), and J.K Rowling, and has produced individuals such as Simon Pegg and FKA Twigs (that's really it, to be honest - it's in the south west, which is the middle of nowhere as far as the UK is concerned). I've lived in different parts of England though - I lived in Yorkshire most recently - and currently am relocating to yet another place in a week.

I don't know if this is any consolation, but I've worked with a few Palestinian Solidarity activists in my time (I hope that's not too controversial to say, apologies...), and many of the best, most dedicated, most compassionate of them are Israelis. Anyone who judges you on where you are from is not worth knowing. You get to know people by what they do and think - that's far, far more important.
Hang on.. hang on...
It's not possible to be level 5 or lower by the time you get to Skyhold.
Even if you ignore all the exploration and sidequests, you still need to accumulate enough power to unlock the main quests during your stay in Haven. There is just no way you wouldn't have passed level 5 by then, especially during In Hushed Whispers. Unless there is some half XP mode.
I'm confused now. Damn it, Xbox. This is what happens when you jump the gun. Be slow and unhelpful like my beloved Sony.
Be slow and unhelpful like my beloved Sony.
Sony is dread. Sony is agony.
By the time I get the DLC everyone will be finished, while I skulk in my lonely corner for fear of being spoiled.
