I have this silly, silly hope we'll get Solas and Vivienne as the last two BI LI (is the most right thing, I think), and Varric as a bonus romance only for dwarfs...(so somehow we'll get all of them...)

 

sigh. Is hard being both a Varric and Solas fan...I will be both happy and sad no matter wich one will be a LI of those two...

I'm trying very hard to not get invested in the idea of getting any of them as LIs.  I'm sure I'll like them all, so there will be minimal disappointment no matter who we end up with (mostly because I would like them all, no matter how unrealistic and silly it would be).

 

I just really want know who the last two are at this point, so I can work on more character concepts.  Not knowing the race-gates is a bigger impediment there and I think it's less likely we'll hear about those than who the last two LIs are...

I've debated asking this here, because I'd hoped to find the answers elsewhere, but my Google-fu has apparently failed me.  I recently saw a fan writing prompt on another thread about Solas that made it seem he is some sort of dream walker.  What I've found online is that he has a great deal of knowledge of the Fade, but there I couldn't find anything specific about entering or viewing others' dreams.  Aside from general knowledge that the Fade is closely tied to dreams, was there some specific lore tidbits or hints that brought this up as a possibility?  If it is "Just thought that would be neat" that's cool, too.  I was just wondering, and figured this would be the place to find out.

My best guess is that it comes from this part of the interview (the lucid-dreaming thing):

 

[PW]: Okay, so, the Fade—bear with me, this gets a little weird—the Fade is the spirit side of the Dragon Age universe. It’s this incredible place full of dreams and memories, imprints left behind by powerful emotions or events in our world. Solas has trained himself to do something a lot like lucid-dreaming. He goes to ancient ruins where the Veil is thin, goes to sleep, and actually experiences the history of places no one else has seen in centuries.

[DA]: Is that sort of vision accurate?

[PW]: Absolutely not. It’s based off people’s memories, right? Ask ten different witnesses at a crime scene to describe what happened, and you’ll get all kinds of conflicting information. Solas knows that everything he sees in the Fade is subjective and imperfect. It’s like a gigantic Wikipedia entry full of “[citation needed]” notes, but still, Solas has found some amazing things.

I think this is the specific line that has led to this idea. Others can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the only official thing we've heard that suggests Solas might be, as you called it, a 'dream-walker.' Any speculation beyond that is just that - speculation. Personally, I think there's a lot more to Solas' abilities than what Patrick said, but to reveal more would likely be a spoiler. What exactly that is (and whether it extends to actually being able to see the dreams of the living, instead of just impressions of events left on the Fade) remains to be seen.

Hmmm as far as I know, they didn't say anything about Solas being able to enter other peoples dreams...
They said that Solas is something like a lucid dreamer, but we don't really know much about his abilities

Vivienne not being a romance means it's skewed to have more male LIs than female. Pretty damned sure they wouldn't go that route. Unless they want to give straight and bi women as well as gay men what straight men have been getting in BW games prior to DAO and ME1.
