Kay, I'm vanishing until the DLC is safely released and completed. Severe spoiler allergy. I avoided all DAI media for about a year prior to release, seriously knew almost nothing...aside from what they showed in a couple trailers. I'd like that to continue being the case here and don't trust people from outside this thread not to be jerks.

I always imagined there were variants of Halla, some made for riding like the big ones in DAO, and some they keep around one reason or another. Either that, or Bioware done-goofed with the scale size of the creatures.

My guess was gameplay/story segregation (model made too small by unknowing artist or something) or variants of halla, one to draw, one to ride.

Does anyone have a mod free patch 10 on their PC? Mine got kinda fucked up because I had some mods and my origins downloaded the patch and then it started crashing.. I tried to uninstall all the mods multiple times and repair the game and trying to delete the mod folder but it would not work without it... sooo if someone would be so kind to send it for me.. like upload somewhere and send for me a copy of it I would be really grateful since I do not want to download all the game and dlc's again... pleaaase *_*

For those who are worried about Trespasser, fear not. Here's how Trespasser ends:-

 

Solas transfers the Mark from the Inquisitor's hand to his bald head. Now the Dread Wolf has a glowing green head that he uses to open and seal the Veil at will. The Inquisitor later have an option of either having an orgy with the Qunari forces near the Eluvians or to have an orgy with the Orlesian and Ferelden nobility at the Winter Palace. You will have to have the specific perks to persuade your love interests to join you in the orgy.  The DLC ends with Sandal disenchanting the Golden Nug statue to reveal that it is a vessel that holds the Maker.

So immediately after Trespasser was announced, my fiance and I started pushing our late-era games through to the finish line. We were expecting our original Qunari mage character to be our first through every DLC, but a certain character's prominence made us take our Lavellan through the DLC to become our first character to truly finish Inquisition.

Seriously. My SO is the master of DPS. Reaver Lavellan doesn't give a fig about your darkspawn, Descent. She took out the first emissary in one hit. She punches dragons to death. We're not sure if she can generate Guard or not, because everything dies too quickly. She's an angry elf with a Sulevin Blade on her shoulder.

Don't get me started on her Trevelyan archer. 

Meanwhile, I'm getting my old Templar Divine!Viv playthrough closer to finish. He was the second character ever made. You can really, really tell by how many schematics I have, as well as my ability trees and gold.     Did you know that Guard is important for Warriors? And that A Thousand Cuts is necessary for Tempests, but upgrading Blackwall's Hold the Line is kind of useless? Adrian Trevelyan certainly didn't. 

 

I will definitely be back after we finish Trespasser a few times. Most character threads go on for years after the game with their focus has ended, yes? Just look at the magnificence of the Cullen Thread, and we have some pretty strong hints that Solas will be taking over Flemeth's recurring role. (In DA4. Which will be in Tevinter. Or I will cry.)

More specifically, I'll be back to complain about not finding the best color for vallaslin for my canon Solavellan complete runthrough. I'm thinking archer. I'm just hoping she can match the awesome progression of Sunnie's Tala. 

I have to echo everyone getting all emotional about the Solas Thread. I've, y'know, only been a technical forumite for about nine months. But I've been a regular lurker since 2008, I think? Right after the very first trailer for Origins. And I spent much of my lurking time in the land of the unicorns and Nicholas Cage GIF's in the lead-up to Inquisition. I see no reason to stop now. I mean, the thread managed to summon Siha without strapping a naked Cullen to a Bat-Signal. That's pretty impressive.  (Welcome back! Also, welcome back to every other sudden return! I'd list you all, but my head is kind of fuzzy from catching up on a crazy week for the thread without skipping any pages...)

If I had a Twitter I'd follow you lot.  I imagine the Twitter feeds would be quite entertaining.

I'm on a post-breakup save so that was just the chat you can repeat with him over and over. I just found some new clothes though. Though you're right...I wouldn't have wanted the cutscenes with gloves either.

We will get a romantic scene during which Solas gently wipes pheromones on Lavellan's nose, his head glowing green with excitement.
