For description ideas I often go to some save and run around in game. Maybe an elf in that Dalish clan or the Hinterlands?

One time I looked around that cabin behind Solas in Haven for hours. I felt like a stalker.

 

I'm not quite looking for a description....exactly, just something that catches my eye in a person's face, expressions, look in general. I've also just looked up some more general reference images. I found some woman with an interesting scar that I'll probably include on Lavellan's girlfriend. Things like that. I'm kind of just absorbing.

Finally finished Jaws of Hakkon and Descent.  I think this is the longest I have played the game without having Solas in the party (I played both post ending).  At some point I will probably do both DLCs before the end of the game so I can drag Solas along, with one of my other Inquisitors.  I did enjoy doing them post end though.  I'm a bit glad that I waited so long to do the DLCs since I haven't really played since Feb/Mar.  Getting myself in the frame of mind that Lavellan has been busy these 2 years that pass before Trespasser. 

 

I did manage to trigger some banter I've never seen before since my party is drastically different without Solas.  Bring Iron Bull and Dorian around with me all of the time now.  While doing JoH I had this one trigger:

During a boss fight in Descent I experienced a really annoying bug.  It fell through a hole in the floor ><.  I didn't want to reload from a previous save so it took me a long time and many companion deaths before IB managed to knock it to its death.  Whittling away with just a staff was so time consuming.

Last one.  Made a new mage.  Human so I can force myself to not romance Solas.  Kinda made a "bad" world state of sorts.  Warden romanced Leli and sacrificed herself, stabbed Morrigan in Witch Hunt.  Etc and so on.  Haven't progressed far yet.  Not sure I like her face.  Ah well at least we have the Black Emporium now if I need to change it.  Find the start of the game hard to gauge how a face actually looks, some weird animations in some scenes.

...Possibly? I found it under Computer > Properties > System Protection. Highlight C: and click on configure. It should pop up a window and show you disk space usage for system protection. I have no idea why or how mine randomly ended up at 50%, but reducing it fixed the problem and hopefully will keep it fixed. I've never once filled a hard drive and booting up one day to find the darn thing totally in the red was just strange.

Well, that's why perspective is important. Also important is not to confuse abstract influence and themes with concrete parallels. We can easily end up focusing too closely on one piece and end up missing the rest of the puzzle. I agree The Fade itself has many themes related to  psychology (mainly jungian) while Evolutionary psychology could be applied to the Elvhen people. Comparative Mythology seems ripe in any culture we've encountered. The Monomyth is extremely broad and can be applied in most interesting stories 

 

All of these themes however have very limited value because of the "clash". Reality vs. Fantasy. Magic is what changes everything, the "invariable" constant, which is why we can't reason in scientific terms or assume anything concrete based on similarities alone. That's also what I think makes it so interesting. Anyways, I'm glad you also like discussing lore.

Yes, this sound like the same thing, but as of yet I have been too lazy to go grocery shopping.  The problem is that I have no saved games whatsoever since I deleted them all in a fit of pique so I'm starting from the beginning.  Perhaps the cravings will end once I've read the final spoilers and can engineer which type of game I actually want to play through.

Absolutely Solas' fault.   I have a ridiculous stockpile of comfort snack foods prepared for Tuesday, and my favorite mini cupcake of all time is flagged for emergency deployment if Worst Ending strikes.  TwT
