With that, let's go to romances! I know you have said that they will become more realistic, how will we notice it? 

 

Mike: We have moved away from a lot of stiffness in the previous romances. If you say something, your companion still reacting to it. Do you say something mean to an elf, for example, the character Solas dismisses it, but it is no longer "-10". So it is no number that is deducted previously. It made the experience felt a bit cheap. Something that was great for me was that many of the characters have their own motivations, they have different goals and what they want. Cassandra, for example, looking for information on "The Seekers. She's choosing to help her, she will think more of you. It helps you to understand the characters, not just by talking to them, but seeing all the things that they are interested. It feels, to me, as a very natural way to get to know someone.

Yeah, Solas definitely has more reason to be "suspected" than Blackwall.

I have a strong suspicion Dagna/Varric is going to be a thing. We'll probably have to help out like for Aveline, all of a sudden I have a lot of sympathy for Aveline wannabemancers.

It's been hinted that Bianca is still alive...  Which is why I figure Varric isn't going to be a romance...he still has that unfinished business.

me too...and I really hope for the Varric/Dagna. I don't know Bianca's character, but since se didn't let herself be seen for at least ten years, I don't think she was all that in love with Varric.

I hope we can help him close that chapter of his life and send him (since we can't ourselves) to find love with another character. (and Dagna is adorable and as much uninterested in Dwarf's affairs as him, so I really would love them together)

I'd known Varric wasn't going to be an option, but hugs for those who wished he was   The wait for LI confirmation has been horridly long and drawn out.

As for Solas being LI, I still think there's a strong case. But I'm biased, I love them elves
I'm hoping Viv isn't, be nice to see a power hungry lady who just isn't interested. Could be another Aveline style thing (loved that rejection). But if she is, I won't complain. And Blackwall? I really don't know. It's still all up in the air, anything could happen.

Whilst disappointed at the lack of Varric romance, I am holding out hopes for Solas as he was my joint first choice ( alongside dwarf/varric romance). I just wish we'd have confirmation, get it over with, especially now that we found out one via a random swedish interview. Put little hearts next to their profiles on the DA site or something.

Careful Solas, no one needs a dislocated shoulder. Am I the only one who wants an option to reply to that scene with something along the lines of 'Not so rough darling'. xD

The only thing that takes the pain of hearing the Varric isn't an LI is the knowledge that SOLAS PROBABLY IS *squeals*

 

Also, show of hands? If we find out Solas is a bisexual (please please please please) LI, how many of you are going to romance him with a human inquisitor with an American accent just to try and relive Torchwood?
