I can only write in these boring old letters.
And only speak English. Lousy sophisticated Bulgarians with their cabbage farmer heroes and their beating people with sticks for money...*grumblegrumble*

I vote we expand the beating people with sticks for money tradition. Maybe that's how we should've raised the initial funding for the Inquisition.
Also, if Solas is cold to our Lavellans, we should be able to go craft a stick out of Sad Splinters and go after him. ![]()

It's special because it's backwards!
(Relative to us left to right people of course)

It's not enough that my SO casually learns new languages when she gets bored and I have to consult several languages to understand my Christmas/Valentine cards. Oh no. Now the Solas thread has to go all multilingual. Which, y'know, I think he'd approve of. ![]()
Hebrew looks fine. A bit more, er, space alien than Cyrillic, but that's all good. ![]()
So how are your keyboards set-up to write in multiple languages?
I've always been curious about that. Instead of the extra numbers on the side, do you have a miniature Hebrew/Cyrillic keyboard, or vice versa, or something else entirely?

I support this notion, I already have a staff called "The Egg Cracker" (it was between that and "The Exeggutor"), now we only need to put it to use

my keyboard have only Latin letters , but there keyboards with latin and Cyrillic, every Latin letter have Cyrillic analog ( almost ) , so when you look at the keyboard there 2 letter on each button but i hate those, cuz its 'traditional ' and the letter order is odd, so instead i use phonetic cyrillic , uh ...
if you use the traditional cyrillic setting the letter the bulgarin letter on the buttin for G is not the same as our letter for this sound, if you use phonetic its the same letter, so it easier to type on both languages.

For me, I have three languages/language packs installed on my PC and tablet (English and Spanish I'm fluent in, Brazilian Portuguese I'm slacking off on studying.)
You can switch keyboard layouts that way. My laptop, however, is the worst at this, and I'm on it now. Accents are a complete pain and I'd have to rely solely on memory unless I want to use the character map repeatedly or put little stickers on my keyboard (which I want to do, actually).
When I studied in Madrid, keyboard layouts were a bit different. There were different arrangements as well as keys dedicated to letters not in the English alphabet, things like ñ or superscript o and a because they're used so commonly in abbreviations, also upside down ? and !.

Also, I must say that I just love limpstella's style. There's something just adorably fun about it.

Hmm well -takes a picture, realizes how dirty the keyboard is, searches for keyboards in google-
This is how my keys look like, almost every English letter has a Hebrew letter next to it. The Hebrew language has less letters than English so it's kind of easy, we don't need any extra keys or use the shift function, we have 22 letters, English has 26. The only thing is that we have 5 letters that have special symbols in case they are used at the end of words.
ץ is a variation for צ
ך is a variation for כ
ף is a variation for פ
ן is a variation for נ
ם is a variation of מ
So we basically need 27 keys, so we use some of the punctuation marks (for some reason.. The English letters are 26 of the keys, I'm not sure why we took your Q & W and made them into punctuation marks and used , & . for letters
).
I think that in Japanese there aren't enough keys and they do weird stuff with the keyboard to make it work.
Sorry for being so off-topic ![]()

All of the languages. ![]()
its ok to be off-topic from time to time, we need a distraction before everyone go crazy waiting for the DLC, i should stop reading fanfics, there too many sad , and as its not enough now i start crying on the happy endings too.

Cyrillic is pretty! In Sweden we only have three "exotic" letters - å, ä and ö which IKEA loves to put in any product names ![]()
But we also have runes I guess, but those aren't used for writing anymore ^^ Except by me when I get bored in class ![]()
Heya folks, I'm trying to avoid trespasser spoilers, but one I really want to know: has anyone heard if Solas might actually join our party? Given that the DIvine will for a "one last adventure" it was just occurring to me that we might get that lucky...? maybe...? pleasepleaseplease
If someone knows and wants to PM me, that'd be awesome, or spoiler it here, or ... whatever y'all are doing to talk about spoilers.
Thanks! ![]()
I love it how in most fanart Solas' ears appear to go down when sad, like a dogs
.
Since the announcement of the DLC I have been thinking about Solavellan a lot while listening to music and found this: Fen'Harel has many parallels to Lucifer/Prometheus if I read the hints correctly. Freed the elves from something similar to slavery, paying dearly for it (his long slumber and loss of his powers) and then even being denigrated by the very people he fought for...
Also there is this one line in "Hellfire" I absolutely adore when thinking about a possible DLC ending where the Quizzy dies, yet can survive if she joins Solas: "But she will be mine, or she will burn"
