The only thing that takes the pain of hearing the Varric isn't an LI is the knowledge that SOLAS PROBABLY IS *squeals*
Also, show of hands? If we find out Solas is a bisexual (please please please please) LI, how many of you are going to romance him with a human inquisitor with an American accent just to try and relive Torchwood?

I'm planning on romancing him with an male elf with an American accent, but I had already decided that before I knew anything about Torchwood. Happy coincidences.

I'm torn between wanting to jump up and down at the likelihood Solas is one of the LIs, and being gutted for Varric's fans that he isn't 
I was hoping for Solas/Varric.
As for who I'll romance him with, I'm thinking human female warrior, mainly because I have a thing for human/elf dynamics and I also love the contrast between a physically tougher, bulkier woman and a lithe, more delicate guy 
Plus, I love pairing mages with non-mages

You can tell it's Solas because a little speech bubble appears by the character portraits when they speak. Blackwall has a very distinct northern English accent, and although it sounds really subtle in the line of dialogue we get from Solas, I can definitely detect a hint of a Welsh accent on the 'castle' (I live in Wales 
). I know GDL said Solas was 'more Welsh' than his natural accent, but it's sounding quite faint to me. Maybe we'll hear the accent better when we get more dialogue.

The speech bubble is next to Solas's portrait in the demo when the line gets said. I admit I was expecting a stronger accent too but I still love the voice.

I usually only play male characters to see male specific content. If Solas is an LI and bi, he'll be getting a lady, like everyone else who can be romanced by a lady. Probably my first human lady mage.

Yeah that's what confused me, he said more Welsh, I expected to be able to actually hear a distinct Welsh accent lol, I didn't see the speech bubble because I listened to the snippet on tumblr

His accent's definitely not sounding anywhere near as strong as Merrill's; hers was like hit-you-between-the-eyes Welsh
Hi Solas fans. I know you know about Varric by now, I just wanted to say because I didn't get the LI I really wanted, I'm not bitter towards the ones still in the running. I don't think it's wrong to try to look at it with some positivity that Solas is possible.
I'm hoping for Solas and Vivienne now -fingers crossed-
I really like Solas so here's hoping I get some good news soon

I know! I wake up to sad news. I wanted both Varric and Solas, but knew it was a long shot. I wish they had just revealed it when the others were revealed as a definite no. It dragged on too long.
