I'm doing exactly that. Luckily I already had one at the second to last mission so I've been finishing up odds and ends to pass time. My canon will stay tucked safely away and the dlc ignored if it doesn't end well on that front. The simplest thing I'm hoping for is a "I'll see you in the fade until my duties are done." It can only get better from there, right? *encases her canon Quiz in bubblewrap*

Then again some here will probably have it beaten by the time I get it downloaded so I'll be peeking in for reaction gifs to know what to expect.

 

I'm the same as you. If it ends badly, I will leave my canon exactly where things are >.> Hey that's what fanfic is for, right?! Honestly, I would be okay with, "I have to go do elven god stuff now, I'll be back for you later, babe."

Just wanted to say, it's been September 7 here for quite a while where I live. Though I fully expect that I'll be seeing some actual Trespasser DLC stuff on Wednesday, September 9 on my time because timezones.  (I'm gonna vomit out of nervousness.)

1. We could talk in here as usual and keep everything under spoiler tags. I think this has generally mostly worked.

 

2. Using the spoiler group is bad because everyone plays at a different pace and it would probably be easy to get spoiled on things you haven't encountered yet. Some people finish DLC in a day. I usually take several. I was accidentally spoiled for something major in The Descent because of Tumblr, so I'm avoiding a bunch of places including Tumblr until I finish, but it doesn't make sense to ask people to post in a spoiler thread using spoiler tags.

I think we could switch to using spoiler tags and talking here once DLC comes out. That worked fine for me during Descent, and I was realtively behind with getting that DLC. Once it comes out, we just have to assume spoiler tags contain actual spoilers unless noted otherwise. But whatever the crowd decides.

I would have thought using the spoiler group is better to not accidentally spoil people in here.  I stay away from the group when there's stuff leaking that I don't want to be spoiled.  Whereas I actively read this thread.  All it takes is one person not tagging properly and it ruins it for a bunch of people.  Being in the spoiler group is an active choice.  That's my 0.02 anyways.

I informed him that he was in charge of chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast Tuesday morning. Might as well start the day off with a good dose of comfort...

 

As for spoilers, people have been good about clearly marking game/DLC spoilers in the past once it's released. As long as there's a note saying that it's a Trespasser spoiler, people can safely avoid it.

Yeah, I had the inspect the corpses bug that prevented me from playing for a while. I had tried the patch number file workarounds to no avail for days. I was about to just give up when I stumbled on the solution - to goof off and effectively fling myself from the ledge because that, for whatever reason, made me land back on the very ledge I just dropped off, only with a Genlock there. Killed it, and then it all worked.

I think every romance in DAI has the potential for a bad ending, and while I won't ever romance Blackwall and don't see Cullen's appeal I will be the last person to say anyone else should have to worry and suffer. Even Josephine's has the possibility of ending up in heartbreak. Any character can die, but more practically in her case she might go through with the noble marriage unless you play a noble yourself because status and caring for her family might outweigh any love she might have for you. Cullen's addiction could certainly get the better of him. No one is safe.

 

Well, let's be real for a minute, there's a possibility for every romance to end badly, but I doubt it'll ever be as tragic as the Solas one. Still, if their romances end up in a tragic way, I'll feel pretty bad for them. After all, I do not wish people who didn't romance Solas to suffer, rather, I desperately wished we'd suffer a bit less, and that the gap between Solas romance and other romances wasn't SO extremely and drastically different in terms of feelings involved.

 

Just look at our levels of expectation compared to people's levels of expectation in other romances, ours are the lowest ever among all of them. We're so down below, even a proper kiss goodbye would make us happy as heck. What have we become?

No. Earlier two posts were made an hour apart and I just thought it was funny that the timing was so on the dot. So when I saw that an hour had passed since you last posted I timed my post to be an hour after yours. Because I wanted the timing to be on the dot again.

 

I'm basically just trying to amuse myself until the thing happens.
