If previous DLC is any indication, Origin likely goes up around 1pm here and consoles a bit earlier. But it can vary. I'm relying upon you guys and probably Twitter to alert me.

Geek Remix has some excellent videos and theories on Life is Strange. Mari even figured out who the creep was back in Episode 2.
He reminded me a lot of my very personable civics teacher in high school. Even down to the occasionally being a bit of an ass. Enough that I ignored the glaring warning signs, like him basically describing the Dark Room to the player in the first five minutes of the game.
I am hell-bent on Warren's selfie being used for the preservation of Chloe. HELL-BENT.

It's also curious how Warren popped out to urge Max to take a selfie at that party. It's not the first time we see him popping out of nowhere to help Max when she needed help. At the same time, he makes me slightly uncomfortable with his feelings and all, so I don't know what to think about him.

And yeah, replaying the beginning of the game when you've already been to the end of chapter 4 is fun, the clues where definitely there!

Same. To me it was a choice between 'okay, this guy is a dick, but the other guy is potentially a rapist and brings a loaded gun to school.' Getting Nathan reported did seem more important at time.

Post episode four and I have a bit more sympathy towards Nathan. I still think he needs to answer for what he's done, but I also think he's been manipulated for a long time by people he should've been able to trust.

I feel totally the same about Nathan. He seems to have a particularly shitty dad, and to be surrounded by people not willing to help him, but to use him, so I can't help but wanna save him if possible. About responsibility, if it's tied to his illness, we might not know how much is tied to his real actions, or his action under illness and manipulation. It's a tricky one, really.

do you think the post trespasser endcredit tease scene will have solas involvement in some way?

I'm kind of expecting the encounter with Solas to be dead last. Either right before the epilogue slides and credits roll around, or near as damn it. So, I figure whatever intrigue our dear dread wolfie is supposed to give us is going to get piled on us right there at the end of everything. A post credit scene focusing on him might subtract from whatever mystery he laid at our feet. It might also feel a little redundant or expected after the base game's post-credit reveal.

Not that I wouldn't want him to be in it, mind. As long as the reunion hasn't left me wanting to uninstall the game entirely and fly out to Bioware HQ to scold the people responsible, I'd love a final glimpse of him to tide us over.

However, I think there's a decent chance it's something else. Something really unexpected. What if it's a brief teaser and a surprise release announcement for DA4 in November? Haha. Someone has to give Fallout 4 competition, no? And EA isn't exactly known for moderation when it comes to milking their cash cows. A miracle they gave them as much time as they did with this one, I think. So if I'm right, what do I win?

I hope I'm not right though. As much as I wanna continue the adventure, I want Bioware to have all the time in the world to make the next one just as amazing as this one was. Also, Fallout 4.

Ah, the joy of completing the last War Table missions. When they're 21hrs long or more though, it's just getting ridiculous. All my team are all prettied up in the finest of gear too and my Quizzy is so rich, if the DLC required her to buy out Orlais, she could do it and have enough spare change to get Rivan on the side. Now it's just collecting mosaics and buffing our nails (and Bull his horns) while we wait for the drop.

Anyway I gave up on my Trev mage doing anything else even though she's got tons of quests left. She is post game and I finished descent with her today and Hakkon yesterday but I didn't do any of those side quests.

If I get to play at all tonight (if my husband lets me), I guess I'll be finishing up, selling things, making new gear...I think I'll sell everything I won't need that I've been keeping in storage, besides a few "sentimental" pieces. And I'm going to craft new gear for everyone because I have a feeling everyone's going to need it. I doubt I'll be in the forums at all tomorrow since I won't be able to play till the afternoon.I'm spoiled but I'd like to keep most things a surprise.

What a weird Rollercoaster of emotions. Excitement, panic, dread, nerves..and now I feel like I've resigned myself for battle and we're in the 'battle preparedness montage'. Heh.

I have been away from the forum for the weekend... and now have spent 3 hours catching up to the thread. I regret nothing!   Also if you have gotten a random like from me about something you wrote 30 pages back - well now you know why 

 

 

I did just post a story where my Lavellan has a nightmare where she's bitten by a (symbolic) snake. It must be snake week.

 

Evie amuses me too. I have had many laughs just when I needed them thanks to that bot. Who keeps hitting on and proposing to me, for some reason.

These two have become my power couple (replaced Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton because... yeah...  ). They are just so damn funny and witty!

 

I love how multi-lingual the Solas thread is for those who have English as a second language, how best did you learn it? I'm trying to better my French (did five years of it at school, did another year at university, did a french film module, and wrote my final dissertation on a French writer without actually speaking much of the language). At the moment I can read newspapers really slowly with the aid of a dictionary, but I can barely speak it.

 

I find self-teaching pretty difficult so I wondered if other people had any tips and hints?
 

 

I watched a lot of movies with subs. Which is one of the reasons why I now have a very confusing accent, which is apparently (according to others) a mixture of american-canadian-russian-cypriot   Also what helped me learning English better is hanging out with diverse group of people, even those for who English was not a first language either. Sometimes people who also know language as their second language are even more diligent, than native speakers, because, as I think was pointed out some pages ago, their are a bit more conscious about how they say / write things and so their grammar comes from knowledge rather than just through being brought up this way

 

OK, Midnight Tea and Jewlie, we are missing the Polish and Japanese for 'hellspiral'.

 

In Bulgarian it would be адска спирала от чувства. (Literally hellspiral of feelings, because saying just hellspiral sounds a little weird in BG.)

 

Edit: So I messed with google translate a bit more and for Bulgarian hellspiral it suggested адска спирала на чувствата. It's the same meaning as above just said slightly differently and it sounds better than my original suggestion. Which means google translate is now better than me at my native language. I should call my parents more often...

 

I will butt in with my Russian for hellspiral!  I actually had to think a bit because I don't think there is a direct translation to this but I think it would be круги ада 

 

Anyone else running a "test" Lavellan for Trespasser? I can't bear to allow my "canon" Alin Lavellan have his heart broken by Solas if the worst comes to pass, so I've started a new Lavellan and am trying to rush through the game before Tuesday >.> (I'm also worried the mod won't carry the romance through to the DLC but I actually don't think that will be a problem.)

 

I was thinking about that also, but last time I tried to play Jaws of Hakkon with my back-up Lavellan (sorry, honey!), I just couldn't go through with it because I was attached to my canon so much at the time. I have a feeling it will be the same with Trespasser. I will just have to make lots of saves so if I do make some horrible choice, I can turn back time and pretend it never happened!

I don't have an ear for Russian, it just shares a huge part of the lexicon with my language, but somehow адская спираль печали sounds very poetic.
