Knowing how that person behaved in the past, and how sneaky-while-pretending-to-be-decent they can be, I'm 100% sure it was done for maximum damage in the Solas thread.

 

Maybe so, but better to ignore it and let it go. It's not right for others to have things spoiled, but in the grand scheme of things it's minor compared to so many other issues.

 

Most of us here are hoping for good things, but are accepting that it's probably not going to be close to that, and might be off the deep end of bad or tragic. Amazingly we can still enjoy the character and story for what they are and not take any of it personally, because in the end? It's a video game. It's not real. It's fun entertainment that can make us feel so many things, but we still log out and go on with the real world at the end of the day, and that is what matters. As long as that is going well for us, we can take what comes and appreciate the experience no matter the outcome.

How about this: If you see a spoiler tag, assume it's an actual spoiler. If you post anything under a spoiler tag that is not a spoiler, indicate that above the tag.

 

That might help in case anyone comes here occasionally and tags their comment as a spoiler, but is not aware of our practiceto put a note above the tag.

I don't take it personally because even though I'd like to remain unspoiled, being spoiled isn't something that is gonna ruin my fun that much. I take it personally for many members of this thread who dearly wants to remain unspoiled at all costs, and would have clicked on that spoiler tag thinking it was art or a reaction gif or whatever, really, cause it had no prior description to it, so it could be literally anything.

The actual contempt that user has for this thread and its users is obvious and not new, and they use any given occasion they find to show it.

The title of this thread literally COULDN'T be much clearer on how to handle Trespasser spoilers. They deliberately chose not to follow those rules.

I am one of the people that gains more enjoyment from spoilers.  Also so I know how to prep myself if the worst is about to happen.

I understand. And I agree with feeling more for people who want to be totally unspoiled. It's terrible for them to think it's the usual way of things here and people will mark spoilers, and then click through. Happened to me the other day, and I know that person really didn't mean it and felt so bad about it.

 

I suppose it can be like we've said about the datamined stuff... we have no idea what things are in actual context with our decisions or relationships, and whatever we do learn in the DLC is going to yet have its own progression through the next game and whatever. None of us know the actual outcome, just what part of it we see here. And we can enjoy it for being that no matter what it is.
