I dunno, I feel like snacks won't help me here. More like a large dose of alcohole XDD Kidding, I don't drink, but still.

 

This one is more spoiler-y, so I separated it.

All those additions to the lore are neat. Really. But it looks like they went with the Villain!Solas route (damn our many posts about "what a great villain Solas would make!" XD), and I don't like it. It's logical and fitting and stuff, but... I dunno. If you'll be forced to fight him in a future game... it'll be hard to. It's so silly, really. Even if you won't be playing the same PC anymore, it will still be... damn.

On the other hand, facing him with someone other than Inky won't be nearly as moving. But the PAIN. ...I should just stop rambling XD

That's another thing I don't like. Their storyline still feels  incomplete, somehow, without proper conclusion, aand... we'll likely never see one. Or at least experience one from Lavellan's POV. And we'll probably be forced to fight Solas with some other random main character who doesn't even know him as much as Inky does. ...why do I want to throw my notebook out of the window, along with this game? IT RUINED MY LIFE XD

Damn you, Weekes!! Never before had I cried over a video game, let alone a character like Solas. I harbour both rage and amazement at how everything was handled...mostly rage. But seriously...why must you screw us Solasmancers over like this??! I knew I wasn't expecting anything happy, but REALLY!? There goes all my head-canon...so much for hoping to enter Uthenera...but if ever my Lavellan is retained in a future title, she sure as hell is NOT going to give up on her crazy Dread Wolf!

...I still confess that the ending is fitting but DAMN, I'm so conflicted about it. Ugh. Guess deep down, I was still hoping for something a little bit more traditionally happy.

Is anyone else on PC crashing a lot? I'm having a hard time getting past the bridge part without the game closing. 

 

Edit: In case anyone else is having this issue, I am having some success with having the Inquisitor stand still, don't move the camera, and letting the party kill enemies.

They did the thing I didn't want them to do and painted the entire pantheon with the 'I'm a badie' brush. /

I really liked it, it felt so real given the circumstances. It drew much deeper feelings ( ) out of me than it would if it was happier, how could it be happier?  And I dont see him as a villain. His cause is noble, he just needs to see that power can corrupt no matter the race, this fight should be bigger. Edit*hmm..now that i heard again what he is planning, i have second thoughts..arghh..not the way to do this* I'll better get to the spoilers thread
