Also, as for Solas' mention in the interview...the fact that he was mentioned over any other possible character in the first response to a question directly about romance, as well as the fact that Cassandra was mentioned in it after as well, I'm taking it as a sort of confirmation. Anyone else?

I'm just waiting for it to be 100% cleared up. I don't really have any doubts for him being an LI but it's interesting that they keep on being more subtle about him. I'm also convinced that he will be the first mage in our party, the first companions are likely going to be Cassandra, Solas, and Varric.

I kind of take it that way too. They know by now that people would take that and run with it and run far if they specifically and right out the gate mentioned a character in response to a very pointed romance question. I don't think they would do that and they talked about Solas immediately. That's telling.

Blackwall sounds just like I imagined, too. I hope all the voice actors end up with an introductory video. It's awesome seeing the people that help bring the characters to life, and those voices... wow.

At 1:54 and 6:33 he speaks and nobody is talking over him. It's not perfect, but it's the clearest we've gotten by far. 

 

I love that the first exchange is between the Inquisitor* and him. Have companions ever responded to the PC's musings like that? I know Hawke had a few comments whilst running around, but I can't recall if anyone chimed in.

His voice sounds so lovely. I love the way he says 'at any rate', I couldn't really hear the Welsh in the other bits we've heard of him, but I definitely heard it there.

He gets along with Cassandra I think, even though they disagree on things. I don't think he'll be antagonistic toward anyone in the way that Fenris and Anders were to each other. I do see he and Sera/Vivienne clashing over Cole though.
