This was in reference to killing Mordin Solus in Mass Effect. And, as some of you might know, Mordin is pretty similar to Solas (personality wise).
Seems to me like Patrick sees redemption in death and, as a writer, I agree with him. I'm worried that we won't be able to keep Solas alive. Redeem him, probably, but prevent him from dying, I don't think so.
It would just fit plot wise and morality wise to have him die. And even though I'm a writer and I understand why that is the most suitable ending, I still can't help but wish it wouldn't happen, even though I know in a lot of ways he deserves it.
