I am fairly certain that was what I had to do to get the cookies scene. I played it as trying to see it from her point of view. Or I was straight up lying to her because sometimes it just isn't worth it to be 'right'.

Yes. The moment I found that out I got the perk as soon as I could. She approves because you're basically playing his own game against him and winning. Generally the perk options are the best way to deal with a situation (you can use one of them to tell Jana not to join the Wardens without calling on Solas, and therefore avoid the Sera approval loss from using him)

Oh, that sounds so perfect! ![]()
This will be great; I always choose every knowledge perk that I can first thing, and right now I have every knowledge perk except "underground" (although I had to use "forward scouts" perk to find logging stands and quarries to fix up Skyhold), so this will be perfect. ![]()

if you have tumblr, post this! i'll reblog it. it's awesome.
So I managed to fall lightly asleep for about 20-30 minutes and had a dream where my door was mysteriously left partly open, sacks were in my hall, I was apparently at BioWare with members of the DA team along with someone else and told 'this was it, and asked if we had anything else to say' and they gave us some weird iPods with glowy circle thing that slipped over your left hand.
And I had jellybeans. I got a mysterious call and something something Solas in a safehouse. The jellybeans spilled onto the floor of my apartment. I was not happy. Forget the mysterious door mystery, ....my jellybeans. ![]()
What the hell?

No that's not what I am saying at all.
People mentioned a lot of other ways they still managed to befriend her while still disagreeing with her after Temple of Mythal. I was talking about how it was the conversation that finally bumped me enough approval to get the cookie scene. I was a dummy and didn't flirt with Harding. I had done too much helping in the Hinterlands before I recruited her so I missed out on a lot of approval gains. I apologize for failing to go into greater detail about my PT. But that was how I personally roleplayed it to get the scene because of previous choices I had made or failed to make.

The only time you have to somewhat agree with her is if you are in a romance with her & want to continue the romance. Even then, the game allows you to "reluctantly" agree by her telling you that if you care then you'll just tell her what she wants to hear. Kind of like when your girlfriend asks if this dress makes her look fat & even if it totally does but you lie to keep your relationship (&your extremities) intact.

Hey guys did you hear this regarding Solas?

Yeah. Presumably, at that point, a romanced dalish elf would know what sera was about anyway and to them, dealing with her hangups, would be worth it.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to imply that was what you said. That is, however, what I'm more or less getting from all the approval actions necessary for Sera. Perhaps she and I has just diametrically opposed.
I always ally with the mages and exile the wardens. And I rarely flirt with Harding, and almost never give in to her anti-elf rants. And I remember our argument after the the Lord Harmond incident got me an enormous amount of disapproval from her. Our "friendship" was an unmitigated disaster.
Edit: Oh! And Sera hates all my Sit in Judgment decisions!

Well I guess my only advice is to maybe try a PT where you don't make those choices. I would never presume to tell someone how to play their game. I have a tendency in most RPGs to make almost the same choices every time I replay it. If you're really curious about seeing how Sera's friendship can be when you're not butting heads, maybe try a run where you don't exile the Wardens. I know that can be difficult to do sometimes if a choice feels way too wrong. There are choices I have never made in Bioware games, even for curiosity sake, just to see the other outcomes.
I'm a little more forgiving to Sera's viewpoint because I think back to how I was when I was younger, 18-21. Such an idealist, and so set in my beliefs that it went beyond being stubborn. Thankfully I got older and grew out of that frame of mind.

I don't think it is a codex entry. It's a line Cole says during the DLC.
