Was he actually changed? like if I play only the base game would his face look the same as in Trespasser?
I never actually noticed a difference... but I guess his cheekbones and bottom lip aren't as crazy huge as before XD

Regarding Solas' new or not new look. It might have something to do with last gen console dropping. I'm not sure, but I thougth during The Descent characters looked little off. Though reason for that may be that BioWare Austin made The Descent.

Not until you quoted it did I realize how many times I used the world "delicate."
Words are hard.
I would love to see some more delicate jewelry! The ones they sold in the bioware store felt very overpriced for what they were. Small charms would be amazing. Or, they could go the route of skyrim and create more ingame necklaces that could be recreated in shop.

I tried to romance Anders once, but it felt wrong. Now every other romance than Solas also feels wrong besides Dorian. Dorian is only other character whose romance arc I adore and even then I created an elf.

About the long wait of DA4. One reason for long development cycle between DA2 and Inquisition was change of engine to Frostbite 3. They literally had to build everything so I suspect hope that we don't have to wait Solavellan reunion that long.

For what it's worth, I am also in the process of writing one. It doesn't really matter to me if anyone reads it. I might not even post it where people can. I'm also a very, very slow writer because I don't think in words. It takes me forever to post things here, even since my brain has to translate what I'm thinking into letters that fit together well. It sometimes takes me over an hour to write some of the theory monger posts I've done.
However! Writing my post-game fanfic is already helping me get things sorted, and it means I don't have to say goodbye to my Lavellan. So, I say go ahead and write it! You can worry about an audience later. If nothing else, it will probably help with the feels. I've actually been able to play my Trev a little bit the past two days.
But only a little bit.
The audience and feedback is a great help though. It's the kick in the butt I need to keep writing, or I have a tendency to abandon projects halfway through. Still I might write it (the parts I can see at least) anyway, because I need it out of my mind.
She's talking to Varric right now. Varric isn't sure what to call Solas OR the inquisitor anymore lol. Is it bad luck to call an elvhen god Chuckles?

Apparently it's due to how young and feminine Lavellan looks. Apparently it's a way for hetrosexual women to live out their fantasties of being with Dorian (because it falls in bad yaoi sterotypes).
I just like elves. I also like them both being from cultures that really promote heterosexual alliances but saying 'screw it, we're in love'.
