HOLY FRIGGING RED JENNIES PEOPLE!!!!

I just bought the Trespasser DLC last night and stayed up all night playing _{and skipped classes today because I was too tired and too wired to go!}

I can't hold onto this amount of conflicting emotional distress. One moment I'm curled up in bed feeling bits of my soul die and the next I'm throwing myself against a window in despair over the long wait of the next game! Too many feelings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOLAS I HATE THAT I LOVE YOU, YOU A**HOLE!!!!!!!!!

DESPAIR DESPAIR MISERY AND DESPAIR THIS GAVE ME ALMOST NO CLOSER!!!!!!! *sobs and screams profanities* 

 

I'm not coping well. I think I need to re-register myself into the Solas Anonymous Group.

 

MY POOR LAVELLAN I LOVE HER SO MUCH SHE DOESN'T DESERVE ALL THIS CRAP!

 

STUPIDNOTENOUGHTIMETALKINGENDING!! I HAD SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!!!

 

_{And yes I know I'm late. I didn't even realize this DLC was coming out so soon, it snuck up on me (it should of at least waited to reveal itself until the weekend).}

Is it bad that that I find it slightly funny that everyone, when first coming in here after playing the DLC has the same OMGWTFBBQ reaction? It all hit us exactly the same way.

Oh well, I gone and done a thing. It doesn't look like much yet, but it's a thing. It should be a long thing if I can actually pull it off. Getting Varric's voice mostly right was more difficult than I realized at first. It's past-Trespasser, so of course spoilers abound.

I just finished my "complete" Solas romance canon, but had to rush the last little bit to be ready for Trespasser. I have a save from before the rushing, but I've decided to just start all over again. 230 hours in that game (I wander and craft a lot) and it's not complete enough for me.

 

On top of my m!Lavellan and the Cullen romance I've been putting off since release because Solas.

 

I have a full time job (look at me, hard at work reading about Dragon Age), college classes, and a 3 year old (named Cailan, because Dragon Age). This is my life. There are worse problems to have.

 

 

I was thinking my husband and I want to have children soon and I was thinking if I could get away with any Dragon Age names. lol. Cailan is a great idea.

If you were around for Harry Potter mania, we're at the Order of the Phoenix point right now in Solas's story. The real storm hasn't hit yet, so there's no closure since the story clearly isn't done. With any luck we'll get resolution for Solas and Lavellan in a future game.

He likely sees at least some potential in you, and you've continued onward, closed some rifts, shown some traces of strength in your character. It's entirely possible he began to slowly see you as a bit more by then.

Yeah, you're right. I guess for me, the combination of Fridge Horror and (oddly enough) Fridge Humor in the early romance is my coping mechanism for all the intense feels that turn up later

Will the blanket fort make me not miserable/furious anymore? I don't feel good, it might be lack of sleep ^{_{it's probably lack of sleep}} OR it could be that I've developed a cross dimensional reality bond with my Lavellan and I'm getting the excess feelings of her emotional state.

I think this fluffing DLC left me feeling worse than the ending of the main game when it comes to Solas. Maybe I just had more time to cope with the main epilogue ending...but I don't know. I think I could do more with *sprinkles a rainbow* imaginaaatttiiioooon and headcanon with the original than now.  

 

And Solas is such a fracking arse. I don't care if the true elven were a magical unicorn race, it doesn't he should and he can and eeerrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

 

But oh my goodness did I want more time for my Lavellan to talk with him! AND IT WAS SO SAD!!!

 

Uh, the world. I think the worst thing is that Solas really does think he's doing what's best and that he's being selfless for The People. I don't care about The People anymore Solas, I care about THE PEOPLE!!! The real fluffing people, not your ideal!!!!!

I know the next game will be a new protagonist, but I really hope the Inquisitor is able to change Solas's mind or complete Solas's story or have some major bearing on it!!!!

Maybe Harry thought the teasing that kid would endure would promote moral fiber or something   And my first great love is also Harry Potter.

 

As for Dragon Age names, I really like Alistair as a name, but I think it would be awkward naming kids after someone I romanced  I like a lot of the girl names in Dragon Age: Leliana, Aveline, Bethany, etc.
