How I like to look at it, is the way Buffy was with Angel(boo hiss). LIke...clearly the love of her life but that was a mess. So she had other very important partners.  Some she may have stayed with.  But she recognized his importance and if things were a different way...then maybe. And he was the same.  I never thought THAT was creepy. Just that Angel was boring and worthless and clearly Spike was the best. 

 

Yeah, that works. I mean there's lots of ways to swing it without it being badweird. Just especially in the gap between trespasser being announced and coming out, I saw a loooot of badweird.

No. I don't know if it was confirmed by the devs officialy if the Fade person is dead.  It seems to indicate that they are though. Whoever is out of the fade is happy and a live though and with their LI. That is confirmed.

Yeah, I wouldn't call it confirmation confirmation, since it's off the cuff twitter comments, but I've seen Weekes post unobfuscated on Twitter 'if you killed Hawke' so for me that's enough to run with in the absence of anything more concrete.

I think it would be a bit difficult for Lavellan or any Quizz to have a serious genuine relationship with someone outside of their little circle, since most people won't see Lavellan for Lavellan, but instead see the Inquisitor or the Herald of Andraste. Even Varric says he sometimes forget you'er actually a person instead of like "one of those statues of Andraste holding bowels of fire." The people in you're inner circle know you well enough to see beyond that title, but that would be difficult for others on the outside. Even for another dalish elf, who might not be able to get over the fact  that you have a title that reeks of the Chantry. I do headcannon that the Quizz who is single or had broken up with someone would be bombarded with letters from suitors who want a relationship with the Quizz for status and power reasons.

Yeah, it would be hard to get a real relationship going with anyone as Inquisitor. My canon quiz outright says she refuses to marry her LI (Blackwall fwiw) because she explicitly wants to be able to entertain political marriage proposals. (and reject them, but an offer is always open to a counter-offer)

I think if there was one spirit that Lavellan should try to contact to figure out what to do about Solas......it would be the spirit of Ameridan. I would say that I would love for him to come back somehow as a companion....but no. Ameridan earned his afterlife and should just be chilling with Telana somewhere.

Not gonna lie.  I ship Spike.  Hard core.  In Apples to Apples & in Cards against humanity my husband has Spike written on a card just for me.  It's instant win if played on me.  No matter what.

They seriously get the best VAs for every male elf. Zevran, Fenris, Solas, Ameridan, Abelas... I could listen to their dialogue all day. Even the grumpy Dalish guards in DA2 have attractive voices.

As far as Ameridan goes.  I always bring Solas post-breakup, pre-end game.  

 

I figure she's trying to work on him to admit that love is worth everything.  I mean Ameridan and his 'wife' have the best tragic love story.  And Ameridan is basically saying take advantage of having the people you love while you have them.

About moving on:

 

My Lavellan definitely did not move on. But for me, moving on means to let go of all hopes of seeing/loving him again. And of course, that just wouldn't happen. Solas is and will always be her one great love. Not moving on doesn't mean no flings though. (And I'm still trying to find a good fling partner for her... coming up blank though... Not Cullen, since he's pro-templar and she's pro-mage... Sera's difficult... IB - not going there... Blackwall? Josie's just not the fling type...).

 

I have a question for anyone who might know/be interested:

 

On the balcony, when he says "ar lath ma vhenan", the subtitles say "ar lath ma, vhenan", but when GDL says it, it sounds like "ar lath, ma vhenan". Or am I wrong? Which would be more correct?
