Just rediscovered this song. And immediately thought of Solavellan ![]()

Illyria.
British people have the best things.
1. A regency era. In history, maybe not so great, but in fiction....ahhhhh. Henry Tilney. ♡
2. Everything you say sounds adorable.
3. Sherlock Holmes.
4. A monarchy. Tradition. Legends.
5. You drink tea.
6. Tom Hiddleston
7. Every British actor ever
8. Downton Abbey.
9. Prince George is adorable.
10. Accents. Hottest accents ever.
Henry Tilney! ![]()
I want to be on the squad! I really like Bianca.
Two woman(?) Bianca defence squad!
"Fine, Solas. You can end the world, but only once you explain why to THIS KITTEN while it plays with THESE BUTTONS next to THAT TRAY OF FRILLY CAKES."
I mean, I don't care how determined the guy is; who could resist that?
They said the world was over. They said there was no hope. They were wrong.

Why am I out of likes?
FITE! FITE! FITE!
(mostly for the shade Varric would throw. The glorious shade)
Really? I could never see Vivienne as a parent, but I think Dorian would be a decent father once he realized that his relationship with his children does NOT have to be a reaction to his parents' relationship with him.
Now I want to to write fluffy Doriavellan fics in which they adopt a little elf blooded baby and become Best Dads.
I don't think Solas would ever get jealous in the traditional sense. He did break up with her. But I think he might be...jealous in a more convoluted, Solas-y sort of way?

And the hellspiral begins again.
Iiii.... don't think so. Especially not after what I hear her voice actress has to say about her in this video.
I think it's ESPECIALLY interesting to note her saying "She's a kind of universal mystical witch - her power, it seems to me, is infinite and vast and it encompasses empathy and kind of strength that brooks no foolishness and no destruction of the world she has spent thousands of years creating".
... I think Mythal will yet surprise us, in many intriguing ways
I wouldn't trust anything the VAs say in public videos. They're under NDA for the actual content of the games. Whatever they say for the public is what they're allowed to say.
Why does everyone like June? I honestly don't get it x-x
did I miss a codex or something?
I don't get the whole panethon love. Or the Abelas thing.
So many pages to catch up on to! (Uhm... that's a lot of prepositions. I am sure some of these are not needed in that particular sentence, but I'll blame it on my non-nativeness. Here.)
Finished In Your Heart Shall Burn, and after flirting up Cullen, Blackwall, Iron Bull and Sera... ended up with the blasted elf anyway. Although Cullen being worried is kind of sweet. Anxiously stalking-like sweet, I suppose.
Regarding the Fade kiss, I've realized, that this Lavellan is not only so totally in him (and I play her as fiercely pro-elven, kind of a bookkeeper of her clan, trying to salvage what history is left of their nation... she's into a bit of surprise, isn't she), but it's all going to be entirely her fault. She's done her move first, and she is persistent! He said that they shouldn't already there and than. Than he warned her later on in Skyhold, sipping his disgusting cuppa, that the relationship will lead to trouble. (Trouble? I am Miss Trouble, excuse me!)
Nevertheless, here it is.
Also, since I like to take screenshots in all my games, some pics.
Fen'Inan Lavellan kissing Solas (he actually makes a step back at first when she comes to kiss him, than he... dives in. Not visible from standard cinematic
)
Some Solas

Thanks for sharing! We need more smiling Solas. ^^
<about "your people">
Also I find the last part interesting.

There's nothing better than starting my morning by listening to Solas and Dorian snark at people.
Bring on the feels... ;A;
Am I the only one relieved the choice to remove the vallaslin is no in the keep?
I kind of feel the need
The question then is this :- Do you think Merrill will join up with Solas ? Or no ?
Of course she would.
Found this...
I can totally see this happening.

Oh man, is this what Laidlaw was hinting at when he said that having Merrill keep the Eluvian intact would be a really bad thing?
Still, I don't know if Merrill would join Solas if she knew exactly what he was planning. Actually, it's really uncertain how many of his agents are actually in on the whole plan or whether they're being used as a pawns.
Then again, it's not like she'd be the first female elf who's willing to overlook that because she's gone all goey over him. When you factor in Andruil and Lavellan, that dashing and dastardly dread wolf has a lot of women clamouring to enjoy his d...eep meaningful conversations.

My Quizzy kept her vallaslin. For her it's warpaint, so there's no need to get rid of it. It's also a nice "Eff you Solas!" in hindsight. ![]()
I also chose the American voice for her. I think someone thought they were almost the only one to use it? Well, I did, too.

Handsome characters beware!
BioWare's Ugly Stick is coming for YOU!
Poor Zevran, he couldn't get away.
That got me thinking...
What if in the next DA, Solas will suffer the same fate and we will no longer be able to recognize him? Or just some little detail will change and destroy his glorious face? ![]()

My quizzy is a mage, she was (at first) reluctant to remove the vallaslin (before I even played Trespasser) and then somehow was convinced by Solas anyhow ("I didn't mean to hurt you" and "you deserve better than what these cruel marks represent"). She's not overly connected to the Dalish culture, but she isn't against it in any way. She's too detached so I think it was easier to sway her either way because of her neural standing.
I was thinking of replaying the last part of the game + Trespasser so I don't know whether to keep it or not.
Decisions, decisions.
Because I am clearly sick-in-the-head with my wild fantasies, I decided to draw out my weird head-canon for my Dalish Archer Lavellan, Nanaya. Out of my Elfquisitors, Nanaya seemed more like the motherly type, or least would want a family with someone like Solas, so here she is with her son (name undecided). I've a long story to explain how the hell this would even happen or work at all, but it'll take too long to write out XD
She's missing her anchor-arm, incidentally, so it's obviously after she chose to disband the Inquisition.
That got me thinking...
