And about the super story reasons for Solas being elf only, explains itself now everyones played the game. As for him being straight.....dont think there is or needs to be a reason. He just is.

I found the kiss very beautful and sad. As for the animation? Well, Inquisitor was in great pain and quite uncomfortable, you don't make preetty faces when in such state.

When I heard it, I just wanted to say: Well, Solas, how could they not, indeed.
Who do you think they talked about? I still am trying to figure out what does this mean. And what does it tell of Solas.

That's part of why I'm not fond of the position the writers have put us in. =/
We can't join Solas' mission even if we might want to (to be clear, I don't), butifwhen he fails and the world finds out what he tried to do, what some elves (even if it's a small minority) tried to help him do, they'll be stranded in a world where humans are still not only in charge, but will now outright hate and distrust them, and likely punish them all for what a few tried to do.
Given Sandal's prophecy, I think Solas will succeed. Or at least, he'll succeed at the Veil removal.
In any case, "accidentally make things way worse for elves" is a key part of every single one of his plans, due to his fantastic skills at planning plans. He is the best plans-maker in all of Thedas. No one will ever plan plans as planfully as he plans them.
In a way, it's comforting that he thinks his plan will destroy the world... he thought his previous plan would destroy Corypheus, after all.

I saw this fic being re-blogged on tumblr a lot today, so I read it and I think it is very good, so I thought I'd share.
Only one chapter so far but beautifully written, and I like that Lavellan in this fic is very into exploring history through fade.

So while I'd love for DA4 to be announced. I guess I can be mollified that FF15 is releasing in 2016 and Kingdom Hearts in January of 2017. So if I have to wait until 2017 for DA4 I can. But 2018 is not acceptable. My heart won't be able to take it.
