It's a half formed idea about cheese and nugs and maybe I'll put wine in there too.

 

I've been trying to work out what to do with Cole's bachelor party. 

 

I would really enjoy getting fluffy ideas. I might be able to make them work if they only came to me. But feels and angst keep spilling out. I think I made myself sad again.

 

 

 

Solas: Not to mention the wine... It's truly horrible.

Metaphorically? The Evanuris's, possibly, or Dirthamen's, considering a statue of him is bleeding behind them. Metaphorically though, of course. The fade is basically just one huge metaphor.

There is a bug crawling around my keyboard the size of my pinky nail. He was on the monitor yesterday and I threw him off when he got to close and now he's back again. I feel like since I decided not to kill him the first time I'm obligated to not kill him now... and it's like he knows this, so he just keeps coming back no matter how many times I flick him away. Running across my keyboard likes he owns the place  . This is what happens when you have a computer in the basement and you hesitate to kill a bug the first time you see it... now we've bonded. I think I'll name him Falon.

 

Uh, I'm rambling about bugs. Although I think there's a life metaphor in there somewhere.

@FrankWisdom I'm not very good at theory crafting, but I think you made some good points, especially about Solas's relationship to Mythal. One of the things that got me was that Solas had spent time in court before, if he was such an outcast with all the rest of the Evanuris and was doing things like setting their slaves free/providing them refuge why would he have been invited to any high class gatherings? But if he was going with Mythaaal...

I'm fairly certain that's in regards to something not Solas related.  I just jumped on it because a couple of us have been hypothesizing that Solas' actual end game goal is to do time magic when he takes down the Veil and do like a reset.  It's just an idea like all of the others, not attached to it.  But yeah seeing PW tweet about time travel and I was like Oh ho ho!  Liz needs to see this.

a cultural thing I think. 

 

Ghilan'nain is described as having white hair in codexes so they weren't naturally bald, I think. I mean if you live forever, hair can be kinda annoying. Also, if you're bald, it could resemble your lack of care for the aesthetics of the physical and your deeper spiritual connection, sort of like monks.
