I wish I could answer that little Trespasser quiz thing that everyone's doing but I'm waiting until I could actually play the DLC myself.

Also, it's not a sure thing but I might be able to buy a PS4 this week so fingers crossed.

If not, then next month at the latest.

I'm looking that up right now. I can definitely hop onto this theory. Seems likely that it's related. Dialogue like that isn't random. 

I wouldn't have noticed that Tirashan comment if I hadn't played Trespasser with m!Lavellan next day. And I agree that comment is too specific to be random, well until BioWare rewrites it.

 

It really is pure speculation from me that Tirashan is where elves were going in the end sliders, but it is possible.

That's one of the best fanfiction times for me  Also good for writing smut; I have a hard time writing it when my boyfriend's up and about.  He knows what I'm up to, and he's totally chill with it, but the remnants of prudish upbringing mean I still find it weird when he's around

Well, it was my little labor of love that helped me sort out lots of DLC feels and even made more optimistic, so no effort was truly wasted. And I think I even have some edits in mind, so whether others like it or not, I'll still be working on it

And for the rest of my chapters, it would be ridiculous to take them seriously, so I just goof around with no expectations whatsoever.

 

 

I do that too. Just go in without real expectations. Try to sort out my ideas and feelings. Though now that I've written and thought about the frame a lot more I have actual planned things that fit in certain slots. Ultimately, though, I appreciate when people do read and like my stuff, but it has to get out and it's easier when you just do it without expectations.

 

It's extra special when you write something that you just really, really love. Just thinking about this now, I am capable of fluff sometimes.

Though Trevelyan's rack must tempt him.  Because damn.  Also his default dialogue is definitely a little...intense, and it can come off weird if you're not romancing him.  My Adaar had a polite but firm chat with Solas about normal social boundaries

Indeed. Even my sister who wasn't a Solasmancer found Solas' dialogue a bit intense. Especially during the friendship scene in Fade!Haven. (And that was the moment she actually found Solas quite attractive. xD)

Yes exactly! Not that I'm not incredibly grateful and surprised if someone would actually take the time to read through something, but I can't go into writing it thinking about that. It's paralyzing.

As to tranquility, I'm pretty rooted on the Solas side of the argument. I think it's horrible, not matter how evil the subject. I'd only approve of it to keep a truly dangerous, unkillable mage (the Evanurius) from being crazy powerful and killing people (wonder if Solas made them tranquil). In any other situation I wouldn't do it.

Someone asked few pages ago about possible location to Solas' base of operation.

 

In Trespasser if you speak to Leliana with no-Solas-romance-Inquisitor she says that elves of Tirashan are acting weird. Now Tirashan is a big forest in western parts of Thedas. I think this may not be Solas' main base, but it could be a location to his agents. Also it is possible that The Tirashan is that foresty location shown in elf ending sliders and it could be same place where Abelas went after his mission failure if he is alive.

 

Tirashan! Oh my god, I never knew Leliana mentioned Tirashan! This is awesome!

Although judging by what happens in The Last Court, the elves of Tirashan have always been acting weird, wearing red vallaslin, worshipping the Forgotten Ones and what not. Solas was probably awake during that time as well...

When did Leliana talk about this?

If things are getting weird even for Tirashan.. then some really strange stuff must be going on. I'm so excited!

I just finished the DLC and now I'm chomping at the bit for the next game, incidentally who thinks it'll be set in Tevinter? If it is set in Tevinter that would be awesome. Why Bioware? Why do you do this to me?
