Haha! My immediate thought after reading Masked Empire was: "Elves with purple eyes are canon? SOLD."

 

That said, my girl did end up with eyes a few shades brighter than I would have liked. I imagine it more of a greyish purple than neon.

I figured they are both in their middle twenties - I just always headcanon Lavellan being this age.

When you put it like that, what girl could resist Solas' charms? No tacky flowers or stale chocolates for the quizzie. Solas, romancer extraordinaire, will take your tattoo right before he dumps you and come back for your arm later! And, we all absolutely swoon over it, lol!

Oddly, some of the ancient elves from the temple of Mythal fought like rogues or warriors. Was that an oversight? Or perhaps despite being mages many elves choose to learn to fight with blades as well? 

 

But, that actually makes all the sense, how Tevinter, the first true human civilization, was an magocracy. We can assume that most humans were mages as well. So of course, during those times, mages ruled. But it still strikes me as odd how Tevinter have no records whatsoever of the creation of the Veil. One would think that people would write down such an cataclismic event. 

 

1. Two words: Arcane warriors.

2. The rise of Tevinter occured several years after the fall of Arlathan. Like, thousands of years after. It's possible that humans migrated to Thedas well after the veil had been created. Or even - the creation of the veil allowed humans to rise in the first place.

I am happy with how Britta turned out though, despite not being able to use mods. I had to take the picture with my phone because I still don't know how to take screenshots with my PS4. ^^;

I did the same with mine, I wanted there to be something cute and peculiar about her, but I didn't go for stunning beauty. My Trev warrior OTOH is as conventionally gorgeous as I could make her, but I have no screenshots of her I could easily share.

I don't think you can use mods on the XBox...though I would love to be corrected.  That's the biggest complaint I have...I wanted more hair, as in length not necessarily options.  I guess if that's my biggest complaint they're doing alright.

For all intents and purposes, that's how I imagine my girl looked (if she had been unclothed), only with pointed ears.

That doesn't sound good. Is there someone on the community team you could email about that? There's no reason for your account to get deleted without any notice

 

If you're on a PC, screen-shots are easy - just press the print screen button at any point to take one, and they should appear in My Documents > BioWare > Dragon Age Inquisition > Screenshots. Don't know about other platforms. You can upload images really easily by sites like imgur

I like her, she just.. looks like a person. I'm not sure how to explain it without it sounding weird

I also tend to stay away from making my PCs beautiful (unless it is integral to the character's personality, for some reason I make my more manipulative characters very good looking).

Yay! I love looking at Lavellans. I can't post crazy theories because all mine sound dumb so I just leave that for the bigger smarter kids to do! But I can post my Lavellan.

Actually I only made one anyway, my first and canon play through. I just can't seem to make another one for Solas and the only other Inquisitor I made was a male Lavellan to romance Cass, don't know why. I wanted to try Dorian's romance but he feels too much like a bro and then I thought I would try Cullen but I haven't decided if he interests me enough for that. I always end up staring wistfully at Solas, start over, make another lady love for him to become unsatisfied with her, rinse repeat. I think my first Lavellan doesn't want him cheating or something.

Here she is without a texture or hair mod.

If I could mod my PS4 it would only be for hair (for obvious reasonsssssss), I like it they can't have perfect eyebrows or perfect complexion, it forces me to create average PCs.

Waahh so many pretty Lavellans! Here are some screenshots of mine. Her name's Kris and she was 32 at the beginning of DA:I so... I guess 35 or 36 by now?  I tried to make her look kinda androgynous, there's some stuff I wanna change but I'm so used to looking at her face I also kind of don't want to hahaha.
