Where my Lavellan will be after Trespasser,hmm..

I think she'll be in Tevinter with Dorian supporting her maybe from the shadows so we don't compromise anything and i think she'll know even more once she's there, what we go against,i mean that place it's like a walking history book,everything started there.I had this dream the other night that time magic was possible in the next game and somehow Lavellan goes back in time "infiltrate" in the rebellion or Evanuris society,cant recall everything but she was there,but the point was that she meets with Solas and make him fall for her again and maybe change him from within from that time before.Hopeless romantic here so i hope that maybe love will be enough.The consequences will be heartbreaking,once i woke up and realized that if she does that there will be no future,but the world will be saved instead?

Eh, to each their own. My "canon" worldstate is a City Elf who romanced Alistair, left him a Warden, then had him perform the Dark Ritual with Morrigan. My "canon" Inquisitor also sided with the mages, because, well... Dalish elven mage. To me, choosing between Alistair and Hawke is easy because I love Alistair but could care less about Hawke. 

 

The only issue is, on my first playthrough I got through Adamant before Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts. First I was just rushing to meet Alistair because my girl hero-worshipped him and the Warden, then I thought, "OMG, demon army! Gotta stop that right away." But I didn't know that Alistair would leave Skyhold right after Adamanent, then Morrigan joined right after Wicked Eyes (along with her son), and I thought, "Oh... I wish Alistair was here to see his son!"

 

In my "perfectionist playthrough" I intend to have them meet, but I'm not sure when to do Wicked Eyes. I did it last in my first playthrough, and it seemed fitting somehow. I feel like if I do Wicked Eyes before Adamant, it should be before seeing Erimond in the Western Approach, since it seems wrong to just let him rest and recoup with a demon army inside Adamant while I attend an Orlesian Ball. Then again, if I headcanon that the Orlesian Ball date just happened to be just after he got into Adamant, and the Inquisitor couldn't miss it for anything and Inquisition forces are searching for a way into Adamant while at the ball, maybe it's not so bad... *grumble grumble*

I also ended up not getting the Alistair/Morrigan/Kieran meet up even though I did Wicked Hearts before going to get Alistair. Maybe you have to get the Warden then do Wicked Hearts before Adamant.

That's both exciting and terrifying.  Because something tells me that the ancient elves won't be happy with this Tevinter upstart replicating their ancient magic.  And if anyone harms so much as a hair on Dorian Pavus's head, I'll make Solas's plan for global annihilation look tame 

 

They've copied so much already, one technology more or less shouldn't make a difference

 

Also - dunno about other ancient elves, but something tells me that Solas would be more impressed than angry. He had no problem with non-elf Quizzies be Knight-Enchanters, in fact he approved if Quizzy wondered whether ancient elves would be happy that some of their knowledge got preserved, even if in a changed form. And the only time he was annoyed with Dorian in regard of using ancient elvhen techniques by Tevinter mages was when Dorian claimed that it originated form Tevinter, but that's about it.

 

Whatever we can say about Solas, his motivations or drifting to the darker side, it seems that he's always for progress, scientific inquiry (yes, even with magic) and preservation/use of ancient knowledge, rather than squandering it.

 

Also, by saving South and Inquisition Solas has already ensured (and fully expects to) Inquisitor go after him and probably use whatever means necessary to ether uncover or unravel his plans.

Well I started this Adaar PT a long time ago and wasn't even thinking when I did Champions of the Just that meant Fiona would die.  In fact I think when I had committed to that direction it was before I had ever found out that Fiona shows up in the attack on Haven.  Too late to change it.

 

I like the pacing of the story doing Wicked Eyes before even unlocking Crestwood.  In my mind a plot to kill the Empress seemed pretty pressing.  My first PT I did Adamant first, but it's just felt better in my others doing the ball first.  Plus I like the urgency of Adamant and then Arbor Wilds.

On a side note, not to drag the Tumblr and other stuff in but it bugs me a lot when people oversimplify Dorian is your PC's best friend into 'gay BFF'. Like no, he's her Inquisition BFF who happens to be gay, though in my case, both of them being queer from cultures that have their stubborn biases brought them closer.

No.  I don't even unlock Crestwood until after i do Wicked Hearts.  I just had the meet up in the garden trigger.  I did the ball before touching anything to do with Crestwood.

Sure pranks and jokes are all good and all, but we got a real job to do for real people. Don't get yourself too happy with something you did from back when nobody cares anymore, right? So, you good with that?

Sera: Right then, you can be a Red Jenny, but you're on probation. Can't have you ruining our name just cause you got some end of the world rubbish going on in your head. Drop it. Oh, and your first job. Go clean off those Dalish faces. Look like freaking morons now more than ever.*stands to leave room*

Sera: Look, it's not a hard job, just go set up a stand somewhere with a sign. "Free Face Wash", you'll figure it out. Let me know when your done and then maybe I'll let you use that neat trick of turning folks into statues. Use that on some real ****** nobs and then we can literally ****** on them. That's the part that worries me.  We've already seen with Inquisition that groups of people are not always united in motivation, and I wouldn't put it past some of the ancient elves to be really awful toward modern Thedosians.  Though I'll admit that most of my paranoia is because it's Dorian in potential harm's way

Found a Solas mod that rextures his face. It's... decent, but not my cup of tea.  But the description?  'Solas original design is meant to be very... generic, but also gentle and non-threatening.'

 

Okay, maybe I'm biased, but Solas is the best looking character in DAI.

Ok.. anyone who is able to make the Side swept mod show in Trespasser (and I know there are some who can since they posted videos and stuff) .. please please can you tell which version of the mod manager, or of the mod itself, are you using?

Also a ponytail for my Trevelyan which worked fine in JoH and Descent doesn't appear when I start Trespasser... but a mod with long hair does..

So I don't get it, is it hit and miss?

I wanna play Trev with ponytail and replay Lav with longer hair, just because.. but can't get them to work. T_T

Solas is really not my type in terms of appearance, but IMO it's kind of like real life.  The more I find someone's mind and personality attractive, the more I find them physically attractive, even traits (like baldness) that I normally might be "meh" about.

Good to know.  I just have to say it's so tricky getting that conversation to trigger sometimes.  I don't know if something in a recent patch made it easier.  But I know it's been the same case for others as it was for me.  Especially with Loghain.  Thanks for confirming it does work doing Crestwood before the ball.  I'm going to keep that in mind for other PTs.  I'm going to have to try again with my Loghain world state.  Was so disappointed I could never get it to work.

Hmm, I actually think that Lavellan is going to have multiple bases of operation that she goes to for different reasons. It's too easy for Solas to find her and stop her if she has one main base of operations.

As long as she sleeps and dreams it would be possible for him to find her. I think it will be in any Quizzy's favor to have at least three or four dwarves in their operation since they can move without being tracked by dreamers. Go, Scout Harding!

I'm just kind of a combination of annoyed and amused that now Solas is interesting he must be made to fit what people expect from a character like him.

In earlier BioWare games where everyone looked like blocky potatoes, a sexy voice was the most attractive feature of an LI for me.  I mean, I romanced Garrus.  Clearly the rest is just window dressing as long as I can daydream to that voice

 

In terms of physical looks alone, my "type" is much more Cullen/Alistair/Anders.  Cute scruffy blonde with big ol' puppy eyes.

Last year that wasn't working for me.  I would leave and come back and it would never trigger.  I spent days doing side quests and coming back hoping it would trigger.  But it never did.  Eventually I gave up and just went ahead with Adamant.

Solas-y Solas related Solas stuff.  Hrmmmm.  Oh!  It's that damned voice that ended up making Solas so attractive for me.  Well in real life I'm not someone that cares all that much about looks anyways.  It's always been the personality that makes a person sexy.  Funny men, oh boy, melt me like butter.  But yeah that voice coupled with his Fade nerdiness.  It's also that chuckle at the start of the game "was that a serious question?" .
