I've never heard of the concept of secondary houses. That'd explain why I constantly fluctuate between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff depending on how I feel.

Well, the only personality test I've tried sort of in-depth (though I am wary of many such personality tests, no matter how 'legit' they seem to be) is the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator.
Apparently, despite being artsy-feelsy in terms of chosen profession, I'm a thoroughbred INTP (http://www.16persona...ntp-personality)

I love their relationship, so far it's so sweet and simple, just... baby nug level hardcore sweetness. I'm really curious to see how it evolves once Solas comes along.

How Sophia gets her vallaslin is one of the first things I came up with and one of the absolutely hardest things to write. She really looked forward to that rite of passage and it ended up being more of a punishment. My HC is that she doesn't let Solas remove the vallaslin, because she wants to just keep a reminder of her mistake.
I'm curious of what it was like for Nirwen.
In fact, I'm curious if others have a story of how their Lavellans got their vallaslin.
Hers are gone now, so that's something that will be noticed when she gets back (the first time).
It has been fun kind of diving back into that mood of what it felt like to just fall in love without frame of reference, expectations, or weight. I base this very loosely on my own friend who shared a sweet, stupid first love at 15 with me and who is still my closest friend. 
He's getting married this weekend and is being really adorable about it.

I just found out that my real-life boyfriend intends to transfer to a university that's 8 hours away after this semester. I found out at dinner with his parents, where he asked for his aunt's number to talk to her about finding housing before he transfers. Glad I was important enough after a year and a half together to be told first, or at least directly. 
Suddenly, the Solas romance is that much harder. My fictional character's fictional video game boyfriend leaves without a word, twice, and my boyfriend intended to move without (apparently) telling me.
I need that fluffy Cully-Wully romance now.
Well, Zevran is pretty much the only DA relationship that by the time of DAI is still going AND you're not separated from one another. So that's the one if you want longterm stability. Which makes for good recovery, yes.
I might actually start another DAO playthrough for this. I need a fictional roleplaying romance where the guy is committed and never leaves.

I'm an ENFJ. That site does a pretty good job of summaries. Some people question MBTI a lot but whatever it adds up to, that sounds like me.
OK, if we're to use some proper personality labels:
Solas is difficult to classify under those. I guess he would score high on the negativistic, narcissistic, obsessive-compulsive spectrum.
I'm mostly avoidant, with some narcissistic and borderline thrown in there.
Edit: Also, Solas has some masochistic tendencies, duh.

that's it exactly!! there are many flaws in them and a significant percentage of the whole thing is just hot air/bs, but it's still an interesting thought exercise and involves self-reflection considering, does this type fit me or not, why or why not, what parts do and what don't, etc. that's what I get out of it, a self-awareness of my traits and strengths and weaknesses.

Can't say I disagree with their INTP assessments - sounds a lot like me, I have to admit, though I think I'm more of an empath, at least compared to INTPs in their "purest" form. In any case - a skeptic in me would say that we shouldn't probably take any tests of such sort TOO seriously or literally, but they can still be decent tools to... um... find direction, or self-reflect, I suppose.
MBTI is also a really nice test to run characters through, I've found, and I had seen quite a few storytellers advise using the test for that as well: they can serve as a decent guide when sculpting personalities and thinking about their strengths and weaknesses.

Yes, exactly. That self-awareness has been helpful for growth over the past years. I feel better about myself with that reflection after growing up the way I am. When you're a squishy empath who just wants peace and everyone to be happy, people really love to take advantage of that or not take you seriously and then turn around and call you too sensitive. That was a cycle. Now, in my life, I understand myself a lot more and embrace what makes me 'me' and know more about the flaws too.

Ouch. I'm sorry. If he's that insensitive, maybe you dodged something. Also kind of in the middle of relationship issues...it's never easy. 
But yes, distract yourself with some things that make you feel better and Zevran is if nothing, dedicated once you peel back his layers and find out he really hopes for something deep and sweet.
