I feel really awful sometimes. I don't speak French beyond saying things like Salud, Bonjour or Merci. I can understand stuff okay when I go out and about, but when I run into someone that doesn't understand English...I have to resort to on the spot Charades for conversation.
I'm an American and I've been living in Toronto for about 2.5 years now. (Moving soon. Yay! More afordable living!)

I'm not great at it either but my mom is pretty fluent, so she's always banged into my head how to properly say things. Honestly, I'm horrible at foreign languages. Only thing I know how to do is pronounce

My door froze shut last year during winter. I tried sending hot water under the door. No luck. Landlord wasn't home. Once he got home in the evening, I asked him to chip me out. I live in a semi-basement. He showed me how to open the garage in case something similar would happen again while no one was around.
Speaking of - things that should've been in Trespasser - Solas explaining those damn footwraps and bare feet in the snow.
I think it was pretty icy here 2.5 years ago also. Then again, that was the winter that I was like, 7-9 months pregnant...so I just avoided the outside world anyway.
You know, it's weird to write about the time when everything was good and cute. It like sitting and watching my poor character walking towards a cliff. I could tell her now to stop, but it's too late.

Honestly, I just can't think of many bisexual characters for one, and the few I do know are mainly from Bioware games... Spartacus I guess.
Sounds like an anime thing mainly.
I can't think of many either, but all the ones I do fit this trope minus our lovely Ambassador Josephine and the DA2 romances are less cliche *coughsIsabelanotcoughs* but still can be defined as "depraved".

Haha, well what is the "correct" proncuation of any word? Is it how the locals pronounce it? Because I was in New Orleans a couple summers ago and everyone I spoke to there called it "Naw'leans" while my siblings and I went back and forth with "New Or-leens" and "New Or-lins".

I'm still playing catch up on the thread. I spend a couple of days doing school work and find 50 pages worth of stuff to read! Yikkes! I still have like 9 pages to go.
I miss the happier snarky Solas instead of the super serious Fen'Harel. I hope we get to see some of that in the next game. I have faith that Bioware would give us at least one good scene of Solavallen romance.

But he is not really a murderer for me I mean... kind of but I feel like.. he thinks he doesn't have a choice and we still don't know the real reason for why he has to destroy the world. If you ask him he says '' A good question but not one I will answer ''. But still if inqy is his friend he says '' I would treasure the chance of being wrong again. '' which for me translates that he doesn't want to do it but he thinks that he has to but yeah.. I think it's because he does not just get it..... I wish there would have been an option like if you punch Solas and he says '' How entirely expected '' that when he says '' I will save the elven people even if it means this world must die... '' Lavellan: '' HOW ENTIRELY EXPECTED ''

Okay so I've done personality tests before, and even recently a prof. required us to take two when her class started so we could better 'communicate' with our fellow students, but this one has to be the most accurate I found so far. Scarily so. The Lavellan in my current WIP fic fits this personality and while I was loosely basing her on me and personal experiences I was rather surprised that I had hit the nail on the head so accurately.
But this fits me nearly to a tee. "If they are not careful, INFPs can lose themselves in their quest for good and neglect the day-to-day upkeep that life demands. INFPs often drift into deep thought, enjoying contemplating the hypothetical and the philosophical more than any other personality type. Left unchecked, INFPs may start to lose touch, withdrawing into "hermit mode", and it can take a great deal of energy from their friends or partner to bring them back to the real world."
And I absolutely hate when certain family members insist that I need to 'get out more' I'm busy being me so leave me the F alone! The ones that keep me grounded are my girls and my mother, the rest don't understand my need to be 'left alone!'
