Yes.
I'd love it to be something nobody has guessed though. But Solas' reaction certainly gives weight to the suggestion.

Speaking of Arlathan, it's interesting that in DAO someone (don't remember who, it might even have been a codex. I should have paid better attention) says the black city at the center of the fade can't be accessed because no one actually remembers what it is or how it was. If truly the city is Arlathan, it just makes me more sad about the whole thing. Unreachable because the world has forgotten the truth...

I know that one way the Inquisitor can learn of them is through Michel in the "Assigning Michel de Chevin" war table operation if you pick Leliana:
"Michel can do little for me in Val Royeaux's halls of power, but he knows about the eluvians controlled by the elves of Orlais. I'll have him working with Solas and our scholars, to discover all we can of those mirrors."
Ugh, also a way to play directly into Solas' hands. AGAIN. #damnitsolas #hurtsogood

Playing as Adaar yesterday, I heard a banter between two Dalish elves in Skyhold. Pretty sure they were Dalish; they had Welsh accents and vallaslin. One was talking about how youth always want swift and violent victories, and trying to caution the other not to run off into the Dales on a whim.
And I was like

Oh Adaar. You have no idea what your weird jammy Fade bro is up to. I'm so paranoid now; I stop and listen to every ambient bit of dialogue to see if it could be one of Solas's people.

Not clear, but it's entirely possible they can't wake up from uthenera now once they enter it, which basically makes it a death sentence.
If that's true, then how were Abelas and company popping in and out of it to guard the temple when needed?

Maybe it's not uthenera then, but something else tied to Mythal's magic?

Hey guys, I made this poll to see which protagonist people want in DA4. You can choose more than one option. http://www.strawpoll.me/5569513

So bring back Zevran! Zevran is too much of a chill bro to play for Team Solas.
(I may just have a serious hunger for silver fox Zevran in the new Frostbite engine
)

You'd really think that by the end of DA2 we'd have learned not to trust the apostate companions.
But nooooooo, I still went into DAI thinking 'This guy seems sweet. This'll be a safe bet. At least this time my character will be happy.'
lolnope

Well, based on our sample sizes of four companion apostates and one companion magister...always trust the magister.
Tevinter will be absolutely fine! ![]()

Seriously though...
I almost put my controller through my screen when I found out that Dorian was going back to Tevinter.
WHY CAN NEITHER OF MY LAVELLANS BE WITH THEIR LOVES?!?! Whhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Voted...
I want my Quizzy to return...I want my happy ending, dammit!!! ![]()
It doesn't seem like the story could continue any other way, IMO...I might not mind dual protagonists if they could pull it off without the Quizzy being shafted to a seconday role. Maybe it's better if they allow you import your Quizzy or use a new character like in DAO: Awakening.

But at least w/ the crystal thingies you can see Dorian whenever you want. With Solas, it's like, "Was that really my erstwhile lover the Dread Wolf or did I just have one too many elfroot potions before bed?" ![]()

While that would IMO be ideal from a player perspective, I think it would cause a lot of trouble for the devs. Now you've got at least six VAs for the protagonist; 4 potential voices for the quizzy, and at least one male and female voice for the new PC. Probably too expensive.
I think it's more likely we'll get dual protagonist.

I'll have to look around more to find videos for the flirts for the warrior and rogue! Eveeeerrrybody (that posts videos) seems to have used a mage (I used one too:D )
Rogue flirt is in here
This is my favorite one.

Oh god yes please.
And Fenris. And Merrill. And Velanna.
Just, all the elves T_T
I wonder who's going to join Fen'Harel among them? Zevran won't, like you said. Fenris won't like this bringing back the magic plan, but if it comes packaged with a Tevinter slave rebellion, he might. Merrill... probably will. And Velanna. Depends on what Solas's going to promise them, I suppose?

I think quizzy only is the best for plot and clean gameplay, but I wouldn't mind dual as long as they can implement it well.

I hope it won't be a case of "oh, four years from now they'll forget about the Inquisitor and be all right with a new protagonist..." I'd be upset to not deal with Solas as the Inquisitor in some fashion. Preferably one where we get full control of the character.
Not to say I wouldn't love to play something like a Tevinter native, if that's where we're going. And it's true that for a lot of players their character got a nice, neat, wrapped up ending with a marriage or other such things. But even in that case, even in a case of an "I hate you Solas" character, it would be bizarre to confront/stop/redeem Solas with some new schlub.
Or maybe they'll surprise us and roll out a full expansion sometime in the spring, where we have 20 hours of doing whatever with the Inquisitor and the end is the set up for the next game. We'll get to resolve Solas and his relationship -- whatever it is -- with the Inquisitor. It could happen, right?

Oh no I will not be happy with an expansion. I am prepared for 150 hours of pain at least, I will not be satisfied with an expansion. And it'd make the Dread Wolf's plans look too puny if we could settle it with just that, honestly.
