Yeah, the things writers do to main characters to keep the story dramatic... are we sure we want Lavellan to suffer through being the main character again?

To be entirely fair, most of the suffering in my Lavellan's life has come from her stupid apocalypse boyfriend. She has a good family life, a bunch of awesome friends, and she's probably seen and done more in her time as Inquisitor than most Thedosians do in a lifetime.
 

At least yours allow herself a vacation Mine can't stop as she's afraid she'll fall apart the moment she does. As soon as she can manage it again after losing her arm, she's already back to planning. She's not sleeping much either. Poor Ellana, I feel for her.

The vacation is definitely not entirely by choice; even with Dagna's prosthetics, she's in no shape to do anything active for a while. So she takes that time to hang out with her friends, learn how to use her prosthetics, and get her bearings before jumping back on the apocalypse train

Funny thought, whoever the main character is in the next game she'll (or he'll) technically be the antagonist if they're actively trying to impose Solas instead of being imposed by him. 

 

Yes, but at this point the story ends at many of them still suffering (even if they have friends and LIs supporting them), with all the pressure from trying to save the world AGAIN, so I'd actually like to see them (esp. my Lavellan) in story again to give them their shot in happiness as well.

 

I mean, Solas is the King Of Angst, but I feel no less sorry for my poor Asura, and would hate it if she'd just be left rejected like a used tool (even if not by her ex-boyfriend and friends, then by BW/fate ) and powerless to do anything.

Vacation? Ha. Mine is dealing with the transition (did not disband) as well as everyone leaving again. And the arm. And she is planning to go back to her family to warn them.

 

I just wrote some more lines of a post-Trespasser fic for eventual use. But no, for her, there's no rest. I would hug her if I could. Though in the lines I just wrote, her friend does just that.

I like how in the ending, in the scene after everyone walks away, it's just Quizzy standing there, alone again, looking at the sky. Was very reminiscent of the balcony scene where she's standing there alone looking at the sky at the end of the main game... well for us, anyway. Kind of sad though.

Suffering makes characters interesting. I just need it to have resolution, which Alleyana has not gotten yet.

 

So if the trade-off is resolution? Bring the pain.

Yeah that struck me too. Maybe we'll get a balcony ending with the egg in the end, in whatever world.

I actually endangered my keyboard again with the tea I've almost spit after I saw how that scene plays out with my mage Trevelyan. Cullen stays with her ('cuz they're married in that PT)... and then Divine Cassandra just walks back to her spot again through Cullen!

I think that's what's left of the Breach after you close it.  Remember, there's a northern lights looking thing after you kill Cory and everyone kind of looks up at it.  Kind of looks like that.

Haha oh my. Poor Cullen, he's the last to walk away. I felt kind of bad, but I guess he's off to do good things. I also notice Varric really had a long lingering stare at Cass. Which is awesome because I ship them, so it was like head cannon confirmed!

I don't know, I thought it was disappearing? So it was like, the last remnant of the breach going away, and there will be relative peace for a few years.

I didn't think this was actually something people are confused by   I was confused maybe for a minute and that I was like "Ooooh, right!" Not only there were 'northern lights' back at the time right after closing the Breach, Morrigan in her epilogue does mention that there's a scar left on the sky.

also there's a telescope in the Winter Palace that when you look through it you can see fade-cracks in the sky. you can't see them unless you look through the telescope. like I said, it's too specific, and they obviously put effort into it for some reason or another.

Again, more apologies if this has already been discusse, but do we think there's a good chance Solas might come back to take Skyhold again? With all the speculation that Solas actually made the Veil there, it seems like a safe bet to me.

(Only semi related fact, when I was looking at Trespasser on the war table, I remember seeing what looked like Skyhold all broken up on the promo screenshots (that ended up being the qunari place), and I misread the text on the mission and thought it said "Prepare for the Exalted March". I got really excited. xD

Obviously my second though was why would Cass be sending an Exalted March, but the excitement was real!)

weird because personally I had to look through the telescope to see anything. maybe it was during different points in the story (did the crack get worse, enabling you to see it without the telescope?). I tested it many times to make sure I wasn't hallucinating.

foreshadowing meant only for us as the player? seriously though, that's all I'm saying it is. foreshadowwinggggg
