I was so busy squeeing over Dorian's confirmation that I didn't notice Solas's profile was up. Tbh he sounds allot like I expected although I didn't predict the fade dreaming thing that sounds very interesting, sounds like he might actually be quite important to the story too.
I think he will probably be the one my cannon Inquisitor get's on with the best considering they share allot of similar values, ofc my quizy might not be as nice as he sounds like he is but other than that I think they will mostly agree.

Reading since Page 30, but just wanted to comment on Solas first.
I'm not SURE if he'll be in my party, but Weekes' remarks on him have my attention, for reasons very personal to myself

Solas at least seems like a character after my own heart, so I'll at least talk to him a lot.
I've been waiting several damn years for insights into the Fade, its true-er purpose and existence (beyond the perceptions of paranoid mortals), and examinations of the Fade as memories/feelings/thoughts being given substance, instead of just the other way around (Fade beings manifesting on the moral plane as physical).
Dunno what'll happen after this game, but if the Fade and Thedas start outright merging (instead of just 'breaching'), I'd be all for that too. More interesting stories to tell. Solas could be the beginning of that. I'm tired of the teases that DAO and DA2 did. I want more.
It is stuff like this that make me want to work with Bioware, and contribute to them my own opinions and creative ideas.
