I want to travel to uncharted territories, if we somehow manage to go through the Donnarks for example.

Speaking of elves in the Tirashan, was it ever made clear what exactly the Shame of Serault did that earned him that name?

I guess you can kinda interpret the heart dialogue as Lavellan shamelessly trying to protect him and justifying to the group why he needs to be saved. Nobody's really buying it, but hey.
But yeah that was the moment I figure all Lavellan's would have made the connection, if they hadn't already.
Late, but meh. This is basically how I figure it for my girl. What with the vallaslin mural, the little notes about the 'agent of Fen'Harel', the self portrait with those glorious buns...
She'd totally figured it out, but saying 'Oh dawgs, he's legit Fen'Harel' didn't really seem like the best way to convince her team that they should be helping him, so she crafted a vague kind of half-truth instead.
Also I just love that Cole totally ships you guys if you pick that dialogue.

Edit: The Donnarks are mountains, like the Vimmarks (where Cory was imprisoned), I think? Not sure if we know anything about them though.

A fair amount of DA fans enjoy having a new protagonist each game. I don't know how true this info is, but I've seen a thing going around that shows that people played 68% male and 32% female. I can remember since launch that a lot of people that played male Inquisitor found him kind of dull. It's a shame that more people don't realize how different the game is as a female Inquisitor. Especially if you romance Solas. I think all of the VAs did a fantastic job voicing the Inquisitor. But for me personally, I am really fond of Alix's performance. Initial impression is everything. Those of us that bonded with our Inquisitor easily just can't understand why anyone would want a new protagonist in the next game. I want to see the Inquisitor again. I'm not surprised by the poll results though.

I'm torn. On one hand I love having a new protagonist and a new crew every game, and I feel like that model works really well. On the other, I don't think that Quizzy's story is finished yet. Even those who didn't romance Solas. I think my attachment to the Inquisitor just comes largely from a narrative perspective where, logically, they're still the best choice to stop Solas, and it would seem like a waste to build up this nuanced relationship to him as a friend (or grudging ally) and then enemy, only to throw it out the window and bring in a new character.
Perhaps dual protagonist would be the best option. Maybe if it was like... Quizzy for 30% of the game and then a new character for the other 70%. Perhaps the new character could be one of Quizzy's agents, so they do a lot of the field work, but then we throw back to Quiz for more of the political/strategic top level stuff. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That moment when the LIs raise their eyebrow has had me confused for so long. Are they raising their eyebrow at Morrigan or the inquisitor? When I first saw Solas do it, it creeped me out a bit

While on Solas' artifact quest he says this about veilfire:
I mean.. I know he said to the inquisitor that he only lied by omission (about being the Dread Wolf?), but Cassandra was the one to ask about the veilfire. Would he, of all people, have never seen it? It's even in the Vir Dirthara..
Well he also lied about what he said to Abelas. '' His name means sorrow.. I told him I hope he finds a new name... ''
It was translated differently. But I think he did not want to say that '' OH YEAH I KNOW WHAT VEILFIRE IS '' because I think giving too many hints would've kind of made him look more suspicious.

I follow Dragon Age on facebook, and they recently made a post asking which follower you find most inspiring. One girl said she found Solas so, because he carries so much crippling guilt yet is able to function and hold a conversation. Of course, she immediately gets flanked with "Of course, he's a genocidal maniac" posts, and some jerk who (inappropriately) asks her if she romanced him, and when she said yes he acted all smug and bragged about how HIS female elf Inquisitor romanced the Iron Bull and was glad he didn't betray her.
Really, why do people have to be such jerks about this? I get that not everyone is going to find Solas sympathetic, or even redeemable, but hassling Solas fans and insinuating that the only reason we'd find him sympathetic is because we romanced him, or jumping to gloat because they didn't romance him? So rude; I forgot how hostile it is out there.

Sorry that happened to you! There's a portion of the fan base that doesn't like Solas for legit reasons as they don't like his genocidal plans. But, there's also a portion of the fan base that is always going to **** all over anything that they perceived as being loved by women. In some people's minds, anything that appeals to a lot of women is automatically 'lesser' and has a 'girly' taint to it. I don't buy into this BS and proudly wave my girly flag when I'm into something perceived as girly.

There's also the threads upset about the lack of female desire demons in DAI! I've been arguing in that one. Let's see, awhile back I had the misfortune of meeting some posters that supported rape as a form of roleplay and vigorously defended their position as they wanted 'freedom of expression'. 
It can get ugly out there. But there are some fun threads if you are willing to wade through the misogyny to find them!
I've been trying to work out what it is that some people lack that leads to their utter failure to understand Solas. I don't know anymore, I thought it was a simple case of empathy, I'm not so sure anymore. *shrugs*
Perhaps it is just a simple lack of interest, which is kind of tragic.
yeaaa yesterday I pulled up someone who intentionally repeatedly misgendered krem with some stupid justification about his voice and it's like lmao why this why you. no need to be some kind of SJW paladin joining a trans pride parade, but intentionally repeatedly mis-pronouning a trans character with bs justification when you've been politely informed that's not nice because trans people read these boards is just. no. do people not know what basic respect is or what
best to either not get involved by avoiding those places, or take it on the chin and laugh at it all. mostly I laugh. mostly I find the stupidity entertaining

I've had some epic go arounds on these forums. Mostly, I tend to ignore a lot of the stuff that I run across but sometimes, I just can't. I hate to see some of that stuff out there unchallenged. I guess you have to pick your battles and only speak out when you feel mentally ready for the avalanche of BS that will come your way. I proudly wave my SJW flag though. I've had many people try to dismiss me with that nickname and I'm like 'that's not an insult! Standing up for the oppressed is never an insult!'
At any rate, good on you for speaking out for Krem! I also see him being misgendered too often!
