I'm trying to take this seriously but the All New, Faded For Her quests starts with him drinking and I just can't see anything but an unsatisfied puppy look
This is perfect.

I'm curious where the soup is going.
I actually have an opening for the story I'm working on and things I want to happen, but I need a bridge. That's the part that isn't coming yet. And I'm trying to add in some fluffiness.
The story itslf stands alone but will also be slightly a bridge to her vallaslin choice and further growing up things (also this whole thing with Nehn doesn't stay a secret forever)..
LOL I made a crappy version of this song :3 I think some other fans made a melody for this song as well.
Lovely! I love the picture of the mother with her child too! It sounds like you're the mother singing to her child ![]()
Are you referring to the "not really, no" option, or something different?
I'm also trying to track down a video of low approval inquisitor asking why the world has to die for the elves to return. I assume Solas has a different response than "you've always shown a thoughtfulness I respected", and I'm curious what it is.
Haha, I would think so! If Fluffy hasn't made one yet you should request it!

It's his exact face in dog form! XD
like!
The soup isn't going anywhere! I want to get rid of it! The whole point is that he brought back their food rations, but because he went late in the day, there was almost nothing left, and they only gave him soup because he said some of it's for the Herald.
Really the whole point is: Haven is a disaster zone in the beginning of the game and food is scarce.
But they need to start talking about the Dalish.
So I'm just trying to lead things as naturally as possible to the part I have planned.
What does your bridge need to connect?
Lavellan could curse (spilled soup or hot soup!) and Solas could question it being some rustic Dalish curse.
A third party could ask Lavellan about her heritage, she answers, they leave, and then it's just Solas and Lavellan and an opening to elaborate.
Uh, can't think of anything else... hope this helps!
You precious thing, you ! Not exactly this, but it made me think of something that might work and in any case would wrap up the stupid soup moment fast. I'll try it. Thanks!
You're welcome! Good luck with the scene. ![]()

Yo if it was ever in doubt that I'm ever wrong about anything to do with Solas let it be known that I called yet another thing lmfao. It was so obvious that it was his, he didn't need to state it in a dialogue line lmao oh man wahahaha

I've been looking on youtube since I posted but I can't find it
I know the conversation starts with Lavellan accusing Solas of not doing enough to help elves but I'm not sure if it's the punching scene or not.

Ah, no wonder you're aiming for some rival type discussion, since you're bringing the Dalish into it. ![]()
The current bridge just needs to bring Nehn into the tale to do what I want her to do, but I've got some threads. They've been kept apart for days since Nirwen's mother had her brother and she has been attending to her, her brother, and her eight year old sister while her father has been traveling back. That's the beginning and setup but there's more where I'm going that I'm figuring how to steer it to. Also fiddling with a date or two.

I don't know, I never underestimate the power of the internet to lack reading comprehension (or to be able to read between the lines). If you just stop hitting things for a moment to pay attention to the codex entries, it's all right there.

I always figured it was built on the ruins of his castle or temple or something, since it was stated in one codex or another that things were built up over the bones. But it's good enough for me. ![]()
So while you're at it, why not tell the rest of us how the Solas arc will conclude, along with the romance? We'd love to come back in four years and ply you with high-fives for calling the next game too. ![]()

Hearing some of you guys thought so too RESTORES MY FAITH IN HUMANITY. A+ Solas thread

Thanks! Unfortunately she only swears in Tevinter and there's no third party.
I've really painted myself into a corner with this.
Oh well, whatever I come up with will be crappy, but it will have to do.
Good luck
I'm sure you'll get it! Maybe music will muse it out of you? That helps if I'm having a hard time coming up with something (though I can't write and listen to anything with lyrics).

I'm not a "read-in-between-the-lines-er" so I was surprised, although it seems obvious now! Hindsight is 20/20 ![]()

Edit - didn't realize this would be top - hiding the Fourth Doctor for Top Solas.

This is his "If it were up to me, you'd be dead" face. Because for once, I didn't let him kill them.
So - I was internetless for a weekend and there's 30 pages to catch up on. And I'm lazy. Did I miss anything good?

Yeah... I suck at that stuff XD
I've read the ASOIAF series and it completely blew me away when a friend pointed out Renly and Loras were gay lovers (there isn't a scene like in the show). I was like, "Oh crap, you're right! How did I not notice that!?"
oh good lord that's too adorable xD

What if Lavellan comments about the clan's healer or her grandmother making soup when she was sick? Maybe they put in a little extra of an ingredient especially for her? Or perhaps use an instance of when Lavellan got sick and clan members were so worried about her, to use as an example of how much the Dalish care.
Maybe there was a time when food was really scarce for clan Lavellan and they had to get by with making soup and everyone in the clan brought some of their rations; contributing to the pot.
I don't know. I'm just throwing some ideas out there.
Hey guys, could someone tell me why I can't trigger romance with Solas? I'm at Skyhold, have just done the quest where you go to Western Approach with Hawke, and the Haven fade scene with Solas hasn't even triggered yet. Judging by the way Solas greets me, his approval is at Neutral/Warm (probably because I conscripted the mages). Do we need to be friends before the cutscene triggers?
I know others have given you advice on how to raise the approval (ask questions, take him along when you do "helping people" type quests), but also make certain you haven't flirted too much with anyone else. If you have locked anyone in (especially Blackwall), then Solas will never be available for romance.

WE FOUGHT WITH CRAPPY MUSIC!!!
SACRIFICE! Now tell us how it ends Solas!!!
