I've been looking on youtube since I posted but I can't find it
I know the conversation starts with Lavellan accusing Solas of not doing enough to help elves but I'm not sure if it's the punching scene or not.

Oh, that conversation. The one about tearing down the Veil so he can casually reshape reality?

I suppose that does count as sharing his plan, since at that point the Inquisitor doesn't know anything about his plan. I was more thinking of what he says in the Trespasser scene, and how many details of his plan he's willing to share with low approval vs. high.

Also, regarding Skyhold being Solas's... I didn't even get that exact line and I figured it had been from other things he said in Trespasser.  It wasn't a huge surprise.  We knew it had to belong to some of the ancient elven gods.  I had a suspicion it might have belonged to Andruil rather than Solas, because of all the owl statues, but given how "at home" Solas was there... it makes sense it was his.

 

Something to note is that it wasn't just Fereldans who built over Skyhold.  Tevinter also had built there.  There are remnants of the original elven structure.  In the hallway going toward the War Room, the wall that is collapsing is made of elven arches, which appear to have been filled in with stone added by some other civilization.  The arches themselves are still standing, but the stone that was added is crumbling away.  Thus, at least parts of Skyhold still remain from ancient times.

 

Makes me wonder if Solas's mural painting is just replacing something that was once there, but is now long lost.  Too bad we don't find hidden Solas-painted stuff around, to wonder about.  Instead we get random weird Fereldan art.

It was a little embarrassing  you can only imagine my reaction to some of the other heavily hinted at going-ons in Westeros.

The current bridge just needs to bring Nehn into the tale to do what I want her to do, but I've got some threads. They've been kept apart for days since Nirwen's mother had her brother and she has been attending to her, her brother, and her eight year old sister while her father has been traveling back. That's the beginning and setup but there's more where I'm going that I'm figuring how to steer it to. Also fiddling with a date or two.
 

 

Hehe, yes, mentioning the Dalish is bound to end in argument, but it won't be the usual one (I think). 

 

Wow, that's very detailed and they have a large family. Maybe Nehn can come help babysitting. And she'll be so kind and gentle with the baby, and Nirwen will sigh... Yeah, sorry, drifted off into my own daydreams inspired by their story

What if Lavellan comments about the clan's healer or her grandmother making soup when she was sick? Maybe they put in a little extra of an ingredient especially for her? Or perhaps use an instance of when Lavellan got sick and clan members were so worried about her, to use as an example of how much the Dalish care.

Maybe there was a time when food was really scarce for clan Lavellan and they had to get by with making soup and everyone in the clan brought some of their rations; contributing to the pot.

 

I don't know. I'm just throwing some ideas out there.

Speaking of Dirthamen......something I've been thinking about in his temple.....there are broken large vases with what looks like sorta mummy-type corpses in them.....

 

....I wonder if this was decor or....how they had to deal with the dead after the Veil.....and if it was how they dealt with the dead trapped inside that temple, what the actual fcuk was Dirthamen doing with pretty much the entire supply of large vases of Thedas? I mean there are a loooooooooooooooot of these things in his temple.

 

That would be something different. Dirthamen, the elf who could probably read you mind if you made eye contact with him, had an obsession with vases.

 

His favorite store was Pottery Barn I bet. That or Pier 1.

 

And you know June be shopping at Joann's.

I just went through a Solas break up again.. (doing a new playthrough... AGAIN XD now trying to do as many side quests as I have time and patience and trying to find as many codexes and actually not mess up personal quests) Gosh.. That just makes me feel sad.

Something stabs at me on the inside whenever I read about artifacts lost to history because the victors went and destroyed them or tried to sell them off to private buyers.

I wonder what will happen to Skyhold if the Inquisition is disbanded. I bet Orlais and Ferelden are going to fight viciously over it. Bet that's gonna make Solas upset, course he must of known that it would happen eventually by revealing it.
