And they and their servants were never seen or heard of ever again.
I wonder if the Inquisitor legally owns Skyhold and the surrounding land? Headcanon says yes.
Well, Patrick Weekes said that there would be many interested with Skyhold, especially after Inquisition disbands.
...Only I can totally see Solas making everyone forget about Skyhold again if someone other than (approved?) Inquisitor tried to inhabit it. Let's face it, this is what happened before.

Wow, I've no idea where your mind just went... I just made a joke, but sorry?
Something stabs at me on the inside whenever I read about artifacts lost to history because the victors went and destroyed them or tried to sell them off to private buyers.
I wonder what will happen to Skyhold if the Inquisition is disbanded. I bet Orlais and Ferelden are going to fight viciously over it. Bet that's gonna make Solas upset, course he must of known that it would happen eventually by revealing it.
I'm out of likes too XD
I like your thinking drosophila!
Solas can cast an ancient elven cloaking spell on the place. Nobles be like "Where'd it go?
". Meanwhile, in a far corner of the world...
Fen'Harel hugs himself and giggles madly with glee.

Somewhere it shouldn't have XD Solas is thread dad and our baby daddy!

He's like a mad old wizard!
Solas: Only the worthy may rule in my castle! Mehahaha! Petty gremlins, I hope you freeze looking for that fort!
As an artist person, I do love that Solas apparently can't inhabit anything without drawing all over the walls.
It's like any time I have a scrap of paper and a pen or pencil within my reach. Except all over the walls. ![]()

Not just as an artist, but as someone who drove my parents up the wall for... um... drawing on walls since i was tiny I have to agree XD

Morrigan implies that Skyhold has rejected anyone other than the Inquisitor who tried to live in it. I suppose Skyhold will just crumble and lie forgotten once again.
-snort-
HAHA XD
@CapricornSun that first one was kind of creepy! Still beautiful though!

Speaking of Dirthamen......something I've been thinking about in his temple.....there are broken large vases with what looks like sorta mummy-type corpses in them.....
....I wonder if this was decor or....how they had to deal with the dead after the Veil.....and if it was how they dealt with the dead trapped inside that temple, what the actual fcuk was Dirthamen doing with pretty much the entire supply of large vases of Thedas? I mean there are a loooooooooooooooot of these things in his temple.
I noticed the same creepy vase in one of the dwarven tombs in the Hissing Wastes... Random decor or another sign of a deeper connection between elves and dwarves? ![]()
Yo if it was ever in doubt that I'm ever wrong about anything to do with Solas let it be known that I called yet another thing lmfao. It was so obvious that it was his, he didn't need to state it in a dialogue line lmao oh man wahahaha
Man, there are a few little tidbits like that that you only get outright (instead of him just implying it) if you are at low approval with Solas. Damn you devs! Thank the maker for the internet ![]()

Maybe the Anchor allows quizzy to inhabit it, at least at first.
And that's why Solas tells low-approval quizzy, "Enjoy it while you can." High-approval/romance quizzy who earned Solas's friendship and respect can probably continue to inhabit Skyhold even after losing the Anchor, but low-approval quizzy could only do it because of Solas's magic in their hand.

Or it's because Orlais/Ferelden will start fighting over it once the Inquisition is disbanded or reduced. Or, I suppose, there is that whole end of the world, you're all going to die scenario...
But I like the idea that once it's cleared out from the Inquisition then no one can find it again. At least, not easily or any time soon. That was my home, dammit. Go away, all of you.
As an artist person, I do love that Solas apparently can't inhabit anything without drawing all over the walls.
Know the feeling haha
I was sad at the thought of Lavellan losing Skyhold. But with everyone moving on, it *was* going to get very big and lonely there. Better for her to move to Wycome to be with her family and Clan.

My Inquisitor does not have a home anymore... her whole clan has been killed. I feel so sorry for her.
And it's all my fault.
