As usual, we have long since moved on from this conversation, but after replaying Trespasser (again...) I feel like we all might be onto something with the whole 'DA4 protagonist is one of Quizzy's agents' thing. In that little post-game map-stabbing scene after Leliana says that Solas knows everything about you, Quizzy replies with 'Then we'll find people he doesn't know.'
We could be those people, y'all.
I'm totally great with playing an agent of the Inquisitor in DA4. Then we can have a new cast of companions and even romances for the new protagonist, since the ones for the Inquisitor are (mostly) wrapped up and wouldn't need that much added for them. I just also want to play as the Inquisitor, and not only see an auto-cameo of them if/when we deal with critical Solas plot points. That's not too much to ask... is it?

I just used a today's hits playlist because I'm lazy and it...surprisingly worked out even though I used the very first results I got going through. Well, most of them worked out at least. Some a little too well.

My wild speculation is that he belonged to someone else - there are three other goddesses in the pantheon, and at least one of them is canonically horrible. Or he belonged to someone who worshiped one of the goddesses. Then gaining a body (because his owner "asked" him to... Fenris mentions that slaves get to the point where they jump at the chance to please their master, so "she" wouldn't need to make it an explicit command), then removing the marks, then working with Mythal after all that.

I didn't disband, so the Inquisition still exists, though somewhat smaller and as a peacekeeping force under Divine Victoria (in my case, Leliana), but there's nothing to insist that the location must definitely change, so I still headcanon they're still operating out of there.
It still seems like the core team starts to spread out though. I admit I'm not sure though, since I disbanded. I've gotten the impression that a disbanded Inquisition probably can't remain at Skyhold, so I find it makes more sense in my own situation to move out to Wycome. And the idea of her being all alone in that big castle is pretty sad. I'd rather she return to her family and clan and base herself out of there until we hear otherwise.
With my male Lavellan, who also disbanded, I've had to put a little more thought into it. Because while he wasn't estranged from his family or the Dalish, he's moved on for various reasons, and I can't see him wanting to do more than visit them again. (One of his brothers is constantly trying to get him to come back for good, but that isn't happening.) So I headcanon that if he isn't running with the Chargers (which I'd prefer), he's mostly on the move.
You need either a playlist with at least 20 songs in it set on shuffle, a pandora radio, an automatically generated youtube playlist, or any other way to get random or semi-random songs to play.
Hit the "next" button to get the next random song to play. Then take the first 1-2 lines of the lyrics and use them to fill the blank dialogue line.
Repeat this process for each blank line.
You can skip a song up to two times for each dialogue line if you really don't like the lyrics. But once you decide to skip a song you can't go back (i.e. you can't pick and choose the best one between your two or three tries, it has to be the last one).

Dang, now it's stuck in my head. Uma Thurman is one of those songs that is way more catchy than it has any right to be.
It's also one of the seeds for my Solas station, incidentally. Mostly because I wanted to make the station to play a different FOB song (Immortals). But also because it's catchy.
Or a reference to him being the Formless One? That's the one Forbidden One not accounted for, and given the codex that mentions Xebenkeck, they definitely had some contact with the evanuris.
And they possibly have some connection with the Forgotten Ones if the Band of Three was right, but that's shakier. Though it's curious that there are 3 named Forgotten Ones (Anaris, Geldauran, and Daern'thal), while Fen'Harel is said to be kin to them. Maybe that brings it to four total, the same as the number of Forbidden Ones?
