Thanks so much! Full disclosure, I'm hopelessly stuck on that thing, because:

1. I can't decide if I want to write a bachelor party for Cole or not and what to do.

2. Cole's wedding is just too much. Pressure! I mean the whole situation there is already ridiculous, but no matter which way I try to imagine it, it ends up being stupid. So I keep waiting for fluffspiration to hit.

Well, on the bright side... Solas is not just outright evil. We kind of knew that, but having his creator point it out should help with people declaring him to be the antiChrist. I mean sure, he comes close to that, but it's not so simple as being able to categorize him into "good" or "bad." This pleases me.

 

But for f's sake if the only time we see a resolution of Solas and Lavellan is in a cameo where we get no choice on how she responds, or if it's just her running, game-controlled, to a fallen Solas who whines that he loves her as he dies I will flip s*it.

Nooo! Life is not a state function, falon! Just like you want to see what their first time was like (your fic on that was great, BTW), it's the little fluffy in-between moments that make them who they are and their relationship what it is. I think the experience matters even if it didn't last. 

 

I put fluffy bits and everything. Soup. The reason Solas owns proper socks but not proper shoes. What his parents were like. Dunno, little silly things like that make the characters more real to me.

 The happy times will come back eventually I predict that if we stick with this, it will be all angst, feels, and maybe rivalmancing for the next few months.

While I do respect Iron Bull, Solas is complicated, he's not a monster or a hero. Maybe he's both?

That may actually be beneficial, especially if the blood type is  O- or AB+. Universal donor blood or a really rare blood type. I'd fill buckets and get it to the (blood) bank!

In DA4 we are going to wake up as a new protagonist without memory from a loooong sleep. Gaining abilities, re-gaining memories it turns out we are one of the Evanuris (your pick here - Andruil for me ). From there we need to re-build our goodly powers, gain a crowd of worshippers, build a new empire and finally have our revenge on Solas (optionally a year and a day of service, of course). Who would care for inky then?

Dirthy is totally the most underrated pantheon member. I would probably cry (in the best way) if I were able to wake up as him and cause unprecedented havoc for the gremlins of Thedas.

 

I am 100% on board with DA: Pantheon.

Lol, let's face it - it was rather obvious that Quizzy ain't going back as the main protag, as much as the idea could've been entertained here. That's also the reason why I was always on the side of possibility of dual protagonist (Inky as  secondary protagonist), which Weekes comment doesn't really deny.

I don't think a dual protagonist would work at all, that would totally ruin the game for me actually. DA4 would be a good opportunity to give a fleshed out Tevinter perspective, although it would also be a good opportunity to have a disabled character being important to the story as well. At the end of Trespasser one of the dialogue options even has the inky saying 'my adventuring days are over'...but then in the last scene they're pictured in Haven with Leliana and Cassandra making future plans. I think perhaps they might serve as an agent like in Inquisition, but I don't think they'll have a very big role in the next game.

 

I don't think Solas' and the Inquisitor's story is done but it's pretty hard to see it being a happy ending at this stage. I reckon Bioware might do a cut scene like they did with Hawke, but imo I don't think the romance would ever really work. It seems to me like Solas has way more backstory than he's told us about him and Mythal too.
