They haven't mentioned if he is straight, gay, or bisexual.

 

Which means I can't get excited yet because I want him to be bisexual.  I want to romance him as a guy but I also want people who want to romance him as a female to have him as well.  The fact that they say he is a romance without saying his sexuality is what is crap.

Without knowing the reasoning behind his race-gating I don't think anyone could say it doesn't make sense. We barely know these characters.

I was coming around to pairing him with a human mage for the contrast of circle mage and life long apostate. If it's true then I'll pair him with a Dalish. It make no sense to race gate him with elves only. I wanna find out the story reasons.
