Even if Solas wasn't my favorite romance and Ithilia Lavellan wasn't on my canon world state I would of made the Solas romance the canon state just to make everything hurt worst!

I ended up breaking it off with Blackwall because the way it played out was so much more forward after Solas. I ended up telling him I "owned" him after his quest and then he was like "I can't believe I ever loved you" 
. It was brutal.

Generally theorized to be elves in uthenera. Can't say if they're actually alive or not. But I also suspect the ability lyrium has to kinda rez people, may have something to do with this. When you find that one fresco about Mythal defeating the Titans, it's implied that the elves were after more than simply lyrium mines....

Cole said they weren't dead, so it does make sense it might be elves. It was a strange find in the DLC and seemed too big to be just background decoration, though we can't go near it without dying.

I saw a video of that outcome but it was with an unromanced quizzy. And even that was harsh.

Solas and Blackwall seem very similar when they first banter and I wonder if that's why he gets so upset when he finds out he lied about himself. He's not doing any better, even though he didn't lie about his real name like Thom did.

Cole is awesome for detective work. Yup, I wanted so badly to get a closer look. The weird thing about that entire underground area, is that it's *not* dwarven, it's an elven facility. That's why there's elven statues everywhere. Specifically Mythal and Fen'Harel statues, and it's suggested they're together for a reason. I also find it interesting that some of the Mythal statues look different from ones seen elsewhere. It looks like Mythal is emerging from a rock, and the dragon form appears more like a sea creature. (And all the water pouring in when things start blowing up suggests the place is somewhere underwater...)
Ooh... And according to Dalish legend, Mythal first emerges from the ocean.

You have both her and Fen'Harel surrounding you during that journey and after I blew everything up, I went back to that room and all the coffins were submerged now.

It has to happen no matter what, so either we stopped their awakening or they are still safe. It had to be one of the creepiest things I ever saw in the game after learning what lyrium really is too. It made me think of vampires and human blood.
Nothing is as creepy as that black ball with red eyes in the library though. I wonder if that's the image we supposedly see in the Temple of Mythal (using Veilfire) of the person being punished for taking on a form reserved for the Divine?
