Hah. Maybe just a more female preference then (not trying to sound offensive or whatever just asking) romances targeted at women tend to be a little ummm... shall I say Twilighty and these things must get popular for a reason right? I guess male targeted romances are bad in there own ways tho...
 

No I dont think they are psychotic (minus Solas he def is) but the romances seem a lot more crazy.

Hmm, I know this was a few pages back but I'm just getting caught up and wanted to comment. I've actualy thought a lot about this, why male villians always seem to have a lot of female fans in fandoms...and why I still like the Solas romance even though he's been revealed as a villain and has a horrible plan.

Is it really because we are all attracted to bad guys/criminals, etc...? Nah. I think it's just an archetype I find really appealing: clever/cunning/intelligent. Male villians are often written with these traits, which is really appealing, even when they are not as conventionally attractive as the male hero.

So yeah. I think Weekes correctly read Solas fans there, continuing the romance and setting up an antagonist relationship. Maybe that is what was meant about not walking away satisfied but intrigued. Because when you're attracted to a character for their intelligence, the chance to match wits and beat them is....intriguing. Even if we don't get to see it on screen, if the Quizzy doesn't appear again. I guess this is basically the "dating catwoman" trope now.

It stopped when the guy left. I personally believe that we shouldn't engage such behavior because it creates a poor environment in this thread.

Guys, I have a request.. I hope someone can help me XD
Since the story is completed I am putting an order to all my videos and pictures etc. I was rewatching the meeting with Abelas and I realized the conversations there are completely stupid.. But I've come across the "Yes we know about Mythal" mod which can fix this.
Ideally I'd like to re-record the part in the Temple of Mythal and to discard the "stupid clueless Inquisitor" videos...
But I do not have any saves before the Arbor Wilds anymore, I have already stupidly overwritten them, no idea why.

Is anyone willing to share a save of their mage female Lavellan Solasmancer who is before What Pride had Wrought? I know it's a lot to ask but if anyone could it would be great >_<

I don't want to re-replay a Lavellan as well, since I also have to re-replay my Trevelyan (all the vids I recorded were before the BE so she has an horrible nose and it bothers me SO much I want to re-record everything D:)

Dude reminds me so much of the clowns we had stomping into the Zevran thread on a weekly basis (in Origins' heyday it was it was often much more frequent than that) to try to rile us up about how much they hated him and how they totally murder him on every play-through etc.

 

Our standard response was to simply post Zevran making out with dwarven Wardens. For some reason, that worked.

 

Now, I ain't saying I'm reaching for my tablet pen to draw random Solas/Cadash make-outs, but I ain't saying I'm not, either.

 

Zevran/Solas makeouts might work.

Totally. I didn't romance anyone in the main game for ME2. Stayed faithful to Liara and picked up the romance in the DLC, but had just Shepard looking at a photo of her where everyone else got romance scenes.

 

At least Lair of the Shadow Broker gave us some romantic content for the Liaramance.

Tired, so channeling Mordin out of sleepiness/possibly laziness.

 

Point was, mages don't need blood to be powerful, can just... channel magic to main caster from other mages.  If you side with mages, you do this with Breach.  Don't know what this will do to them removing Veil... could be backlash, unanticipated effects.  Self-sacrifice possible for modern gremlin-elves.  Too much magic lost.  And how would non-mages help if not blood sacrifice?  Not sure...

 

Modern elves may not be joining Solas.  Could be Qun spies, could be Fen'harel agents already infiltrated.  As I said, could have killed servants to take their places.

 

Dragon thought probably important.  People are spirits, spirits are people.  Dragons ruling once suggests dragons once more than now.  How?  Smarter?  Old Gods natural state of dragons pre-Veil?  Old Gods in dragony uthenera?

I didn't bother with fish since I knew I'd forget, and my FemShep was ice-cold to the Cerberus crew until after Horizon  The automated fish feeder in ME3 was a godsend.

Sorry, this is kind of my soapbox. Fan work, whether it's cosplay or fanfiction or fanart, is for yourself.  It's tempting to compare yourself to others, and IMO sometimes impossible not to, but ultimately, you do it for fun.  Or to improve your skills.  Or just to mess around because you're bored.  Ultimately, it's about you and what you want to write.
