I'm not worried about how deep his romance is. The amount of time they are investing into things that only a few players may ever see (there are a ton of dev tweets about this and it sounds like Laidlaw challenged them to make it so)reassures me that his romance will be just as deep and complex as the others. Maybe more so because of the restriction.

If anything I am more worried about IB's romance because of the last minute addition of all races and genders. But I have faith in
Patrick Weekes (and my lady Cadash thanks him).

Am now drooling on my keyboard for the next 80 days. I want this game now, but I want it perfect. Sigh. At least we will have the Keep to play in within a month or so - what we have seen so far is so gorgeous.

If he's gender-gated then I'm expecting a really sucky romance, to be honest. How much effort could they possibly put into a romance only a tiny percentage of players will be able to access? It's already small enough with just elves.

This is what I'm worried about. I really hope this isn't the case. I'm still shocked that it's to ONE race only.

I dont believe Mr. Weekes didnt put enough effort into his beloved elf (and his romance progress). Even if it's just elves, I believe its gonna be awesome i have to believe.

We have many info from those times before officional announce...and there is no info about Solas

It's definitely bittersweet and I wish I could be as happy as I should be. He isn't even Dalish and it contradicts with him not liking being seen as only an elf.

Still in shock tbh. I hate sounding ungrateful and I'm sure there are good reasons but, damn.

I am somewhat disappointed. I figured Cullen would be gated against qunari and solas would be my one shot to romance a guy shorter than me. I hope he isn't the other gated one.

If Cullen isn't gated then I'm fine with solas being gated, I like playing elves (although is like to know if he's bi or not)
